Zaxcom Fader Motion Capture
มุมมอง 1.3K5 ปีที่แล้ว
A new feature for Zaxcom products, Fader Motion Capture records the exact fader movements the production sound mixer makes while recording on location in a separate file. The file can be then imported into a post workflow where the fader movements are replicated in the workstation. This time-saving tool allows posts to enhance the mix without starting from scratch. Zaxcom Nomad - Primary and Backup Cards
I appreciate the content, but... a third of the video is a (in my opinion) very cringey sketch. And the last trhird too...
Why does it feel like black shirt guy was just there to brag?
I appreciate the information, but for a discussion about professional audio, this sounded terrible.
“In a perfect world an antenna would be exactly same length as the wave” Come on….
“To go double the distance you need 9dB” Would you care to elaborate? Wouldn’t that contradict Friis equations?
@5:27 how did I never know this?????
10 years after...how do we monitor the recorded tracks?
Wow!!!
why does it phase ?
Show how to connect 8 channels to 1 fader. The instructions(manual) say 8)))
Can I use two MRX414 and the AES inputs at the same time, maybe with two RX4 (thus making 16 wireless channels)?
How do I choose a transmitter? Look in my bag. The Tx I have.
Unless you’re an absolute creep 😂😂😂 that made me laugh so hard
Wow! Amazing compact package. I'm afraid of all the menus sub sub sub menus. Not sure if I have time for all that??? Change my mind, It looks Great!
Happy recording . Thanks
Zaxcom ROCK! I am your fan guys!)
First production sound video instructional I've watched with coarse language. I'd expected it from a amateur video but not a professional company. Unexpectedly, first video my 4 and 7 year old happened to watch with me. High production value/funny sentiment for the amazingly innovative content yet questionable decision to make it 'cool' with vaping and swearing. Target market don't have responsible parents? Needs an edit or warning. Management dropped the mic on this one.
wow
about 10 years late for this question but: when i hit the PFL key on mix 12, the signal gets dimmed by about 12 dB. (unlike when i solo the track on the touchscreen) is this normal, and is there a way around this ?
Awesome.... our Nova arrives tomorrow - can't wait!
This is how tutorials should be!
I think I've worked with that director before
We're going for the whole damn pyramid here
I left my Doritos in the car. Now I’m hungry
Awesome!!!
Lol
A masterpiece of digital pedagogy!
Can you arm tracks when you are alreday recording? And also why did you want to record a mono mix for track 1?
Did you find the answer to this question? Doesn't say it in the manual, so my guess is you can't arm a track once you've started recording...
@@jorge.rubiales you can not arm tracks or take off or put on the iso the limiters while in record mode
What a production! The Doritos got me pretty good.
Fucking beautiful. You truly are the king and queens of sound.
Hahaha, well done!
Guacamole !
WOW! Why can't all tutorials be this awesome? (& where were they for Zaxcom Nomad or Maxx tutorials?? Sadly little info online for the Zaxcom Maxx, but looking forward to the rest of the future Nova tutorials!)
Absolutely brilliant !!!!
Or the finger... (my sides = in orbit)
this is funny
Namaste !
What happened to Thomas?
Fantastic! many congratulations of this product!! very clever!
whats the 7 and 8 for? the nomad 12 only records 12 channels of audio. 6 analogue and 6 digital. can the nomad 12 record 14 channels of audio? im confused what is 7 and 8?
I would like to state for the record, as a working sound recordist, that I find the “creepy sound guy” joke to be inappropriate, & falsely perpetuates a very negative & destructive impression of one of the most delicate aspects of our job. It’s important to know that zaxcoms comic presentation here is not representative of the professionalism required to reinforce confidence in contributors that we have to work with when placing radio mics.
I totally agree ...... I've worked with actors all my life ....mentored at the National Institute of Dramatic Art and one of the things they were taught was that this is part of an actors life ....wearing radio mics etc etc. I also find the creepy sound guy thing thoroughly offensive.... it might be a thing in the US but that i'm aware ... not in Aus. It amazes me that Zaxcom seems to revel in pissing off its customer base.
WOW! I WANT IT RIGHT NOW!!!
I might be going back to Zaxcom!!! This looks good and reviews are on point. I'm wondering about range on whips. Is there enough shielding to stop chassis interference?
Range on whips is 1000 feet. The RX’s inside the Nova are totally RF shielded for the lowest noise floor ever.
@@AllenCavedo nice, I'm looking forward to having a listen.
Just curious, why did you stray initially?
Crazy, a fully loaded Nova with *EIGHT* wireless will barely pull more power than my naked 833
Class!
You can already do that with the iso tracks.... this is extremely convoluted and redundant.
And this is why zaxcom is my favourite company
That is so cool
Hello Can you do a video about PAN INPUT ? It s miss a lot ! Thank you !
how to solo tracks while recording
