On this day Earth Shall Ring - Gustav Holst
Not only is Paul high on the list of guitar shredding legends, he's an amazing performer that continues evolving his style as well as his ability to captivate and engage his audience. You can tell he's loves doing what he does. All that plus he's a super nice and humble guy in person.
Beast! Life long fan since the 80's!
The best......ever😊
I miss his sharp tone when he was young
Paul's look has transformed from spandex-clad rock god to geography teacher.
Not anymore.............
The way he holds a pick is very similar to Bucketheads.
校長!!!
Fing love Paul Gilbert, that's about all I can think to say watching this.
❤
Bucket head was his student!
love to see you doing well keep it up dad
Sounds like Buckethead……🇺🇸✊
Bucket head was his student!
Wow, the Once-ler plays a pretty mean guitar
i love the pattern by 2:32 at most :)
Extremely cool, but that F note was very sharp 😅
I love a lot of guitar players/musicians through my life but I really have to say that Paul Gilbert is in my top 5 ever! And I honestly don’t think anyone can play another guitarist song say VH as absolutely perfect like I’ve heard Paul Gilbert do. So good if blindfolded you wouldn’t be able to tell who was playing it. That is not easy and he makes it sound and look easy.
reverend of the church of wankery
Why did you have to bring your mom into this?
Gira e rigira, ritornano a fracassare le orecchie con mille note al secondo....boh....
GILBERT is the GOAT!!!!
SO glad I got to see him play this live! Anyone else that was there that night, which song was it that had the rain imagery on the screen?
was the beacon full? im so sorry i missed this i forgot all about it
Good story teller.....and the fact that he picked his nose after that amazing solo just shows you how much control he has over his solos...
I was there, awesome night. Encores were sick !!!
It's like Paganini is risen again and come from the past
The amazing Paul Gilbert
A few great notes says more than a hundred repetitive notes.
Paul never disappoints. He’s definitely one of the most creative players ON THE FLY.
Pablo Gilberto forever !!! ❤
dude sounds so good
World's strongest pinky. What a Legend!
His chordal melody stuff in this is so freaking great, his timing is absurd! Was never a huge fan (timing in life) but he’s really grown into an incredible player (much more musical) but still has the crazy chops!
Yawn
I didn't know that Dana Carvey could play guitar so well
Love how his playing has changed over the years. Still love his Racer X stuff. Genuine fan of music. Cool guy.
Pauls one of those players that keeps growing. U can hear how hes been transcribing vocalists more and learning tons more vocal melodies on the guitar. Super nice cat too 💯
Did you hear him miss that note? Yeah, nether did I.
Man he is better now. Hats off.
Paul one of the best composers from the 80s shred era
Where in patchogue was this at I use to live in Ronkonkoma
いつの間に、こんなに歳を取ったのか
Excellent player! Full of energy! And improvisation
what is the song at 2:03?
Ain't talkin about love
@@kqh123 No. I found it its "The Whole World's Gonna Know" from Mr.Big
@@DBicakci Mr. Bigly?
@@kqh123 Mr.Big :D
Paul's got some of the baddest shredding chops on the planet, but puts so much groove behind it....
Бесконечное самолюбование. Наслаждение техникой. Музыка где ? Еще один Хендрикс с Петруччо.
He is one of my favorite guitarists simply because it is clear that he mastered the basics before moving on to more sophisticated playing. As a result, other guitarists don't play as clean or their phrasing is amateur. NOT Paul Gilbert.
One of the best.
Very warm sound
Bunch of nonsense
