High water Olentangy River - Work House O'Shoon Dam April 12, 1948 was written on the leader and I kept the leader in the recording so we can see the handwriting. I think this is the O'Shaughnessy Dam. The O'Shaughnessy Dam is located on the Scioto River near Dublin, Ohio, United States. The dam forms O'Shaughnessy Reservoir, which is a major source of drinking water for the city of Columbus. T...
Its time for the public to stop paying for a carving that represents such an oppressive "heritage". Let the "sisters of the [losing] confederacy" pay for it or let it fall in disrepair into something ALL of society can enjoy instead of one small "lower awareness" segment that went against the ideals of American patriotism. Ironic that these modern day rebel flag wavers even try to call themselves "patriots" to begin with...
I believe this was James Hyltons only Nascar win. He continued racing in the ARCA series into his 70s. Ironically I think he was killed in a traffic accident after leaving the Talladega track around 2019 or 2020
Won Richmond in 1970 too.
Sad how time flys by…
Wow …I was only 9 years old…
Glad you liked the videos. I have about 20 more to do.
I never realized how close the finish was.
Goodness, being the first comment I'm pressured to say something well said. lol. I lived on Terceria for two yeas. En route our aircraft ran into a rare November cyclone. We did arrive and made five anding attempts each one barely avoiding disaster so our Captain, our hero, brought us safely to Sao Miguel for a two day stay after-which we re-boarded our C121 Connie and flew casually like the six hour terrifying mix up with Mother Nature had been just a nightmarish dream. I came to love the Azores and consider the islands were my home and the Portuguese families I knew were and still remain in my heart as much loved adopted family. Thank you for posting this 8mm film to TH-cam where I can virtually see home. I'll be back. I'll bring gifts and love. RIP Isabel and Sodofean . I love you still.
Thank you so much for this footage! I had been looking for this race for so long, what a close finish!

You have GOT to put some music to this!
youtube will take movies down because of copyrights on music.
@@A2Dreels that’s too bad. Seems silly when we can record events like dance with music in the background and post them.
