"Make Up & Faded Blue Jeans" - Merle Haggard - Virtual Cover
We’re baa-aack! And this time, with special guests! Please welcome Redd Volkaert (former touring guitarist with Merle Haggard) on lead guitar and Keith Horne (former touring bassist with Waylon Jennings, Peter Frampton, Tanya Tucker and more!) on bass guitar in this groovin’ cover of the Hag’s “Make Up & Faded Blue Jeans.” Just don’t ask me how long this one has been in the works! Merle Haggard left this world on April 6, 2016, almost 6 years to the date of this posting, and I know I speak for everyone involved with this video when I say he is one of our all-time favorites! We love you, Merle!

George penned "Fire On The Mountain" with hopes that Charlie would cut the tune on his album of the same name in 1974.
