@91CavGT5 true, but, real performance mods come from inside engine, we see this all the time, I work in an exhaust shop too, jerks think a Borla exhaust is gonna give them mega ponies and shit like that...we just agree with em and send them on the way

@ agreed. On a small 50 hp motor, if you can get an extra 5hp, that is a 10% improvement and is huge! For comparison though, to get a 10% improvement on a typical 400 hp car, you need to gain 40 hp. You are right. Even a high dollar Borla, Corsa, or any other high end exhaust is not going to give you that big of a gain(typically) on those sports cars. Personally, I LOVE modifying low horsepower vehicles. It is so much fun driving a low horsepower car 10/10 on the street, and not having to worry about breaking laws. You drive a sports car 3/10 and you will break all kinds of laws in no time.

Samurai’s don’t have any real power mods for the engine. Best you get is the “theoretical” 10.2:1 compression pistons that are notorious for blowing ring landings. But removing the 30yr old exhaust sure does help out the engine with throttle response especially with a well tuned carb.
