They’re pieces for windmills. The circular pieces are where the blades attach on, and then the squarer bits are where the circular blade pieces mentioned fit on

Those are windmill parts

This is the old C&S line. It runs from Denver up to Cheyenne, and then up to Wendover to a Y. Then it can either make its way up to eventually Montana, or go East towards Nebraska. Very neat line. Thank You so much for watching!!! And the “washing machines” are pieces for a windmill. It’s the I guess what you could call head, and center piece where all of the blades connect. Pretty cool stuff!

@@calortv9157 Thanks,and that C&S was part of the CB&Q,which also ran some narrow Guage,which was formerly the D,SP,&P,! All those companies had a rather interesting history! Denver,had,and still has,a railroad history,that continues to this day! Thank you for your diligence,and information 🙏! There was an excellent book,put out on the DSP&P,by the Colorado Railroad Museum,in Golden,hopefully they still have a few copies! Again,thank you! Thank you 😇 😊!!

It was taken in Fort Collins, Colorado. The intersection of Maple and Mason, SW corner. Pretty good spot, makes for really good street running videos. My first 1071 video, back on 5/11/2023, I film it and the Officer Special coming down that same corridor in the same spot. Check it out if you want! 😁

It was really cool! I should’ve gotten the light side for the Warbonnet. I wanted to get both sides though, but couldn’t quite catch it before Fort Collins, and I wasn’t wanting to spend much more gas LOL

I was shocked to see that! I didn’t think it would go on the old Yoder Sub, but I think they did that so it wouldn’t get in the way of main priority traffic. That’s what some other railfans said at Egbert anyways….

@@calortv9157 I didnt think the wheels could handle it. I mean older tracks and switches were more aligned with number tens on nscale and ho scale than todays switches which are 5's and 6's..... if you know what i mean.

@@calortv9157 No I just thought the radius of the switches wouldnt allow it to take sidings. I think I know what im saying but not saying it right. I didnt think she could side out because of the wheel configuration. Nonetheless shes a beauty. I dont even think I was right in calling it the radius of the switches.

I think what they were are extra parts for the steam engine, just in case something happened. In those cars behind 4015, I saw a bunch of tools and MOW stuff, so I assume those cars were loaded with parts just in case. The flatcar has trucks, I’m certain on that. The hoppers were for braking. They help stop the train more than if it were just the locomotives, part cars, and caboose.
