Easily bamboozled by the promises of prosperity, seventy-two virgins, paradise, utopia, and heaven while they make the rulers of this world not just of our world but also the world they come from richer, fatter, more prosperous, and more powerful while they consolidate their authority while seeking more and wanting more. Jihad is nothing more than empty as well as broken promises. Patriotism is a farce when it serves lust, greed, and gluttony. True patriotism would be to throw these people who think themselves ruling elite out a bloody airlock into space without protection. To take this position against the endless wars, gluttony, and greed puts you against the globalist far-right always fueled by excess have which fuels excess want and excess control. Funnily enough a Christian perspective of the Kali Yuga is that this current age is characterized by the Mark of the Beast 666. It used to not be this way. Even excess ignorance or delusion. Even excess ignorance or delusion. Like the cobra our modus operandi is to avoid violence if we can. Jihad would have us putting our lives in unnecessary danger. A lot of the reasons why bad things happen is because of our lack of proper knowledge of education to who, what, and why we, the divine, realities, and the worlds are. The people who tell you to go on a holy war or Jihad want you blind to this. They want you to be part of the problem rather than part of the solution.

This is such a deep topic with so much to unpack. Early early life trauma, whether it came from our parents, siblings, or schoolmates can lead us to believe in our core that we are not lovable. Yet Krishna has made our hearts his residence and is loving us unconditionally - more than we can even imagine - at every moment!. And He has the final word on the matter! Many devotees confuse self-love with egoism, yet nothing could be further from the truth. Srila Prabhupada is the most deeply humble - but make no mistake - he has NO self-esteem issues! He KNOWS from whom he came!

Is a special and beautiful subject that many had discover time ago for different motives necessaries, for this I don't believe both be only the uniques are speaking and practicing it 😔 Maybe both now more in public of a form (Mahatma Das Prabhu since more time ago with his specific course of "Selfcare"❤️) winning space and followers trying do alliances sharing different. Love this and personally so needed

Self love as love of self, distinct from loving “yourself” or “myself”. We’re called to relate to self as ascarya but not to relate to “ourselves” as ascarya. I think its important to specify that self is a matter of Atma tattva rather than referring to the body and mind. Self love for folks who are that they’re the body and mind is more like self esteem.

In terms of rules of a tradition, is it God proper that establishes those rules or can we think of the rules as signposts of sadhus who came before to help facilitate our presence in and awareness of Reality? The scriptures say that God descends to establish the rules of religion, but we do not know first-hand that descent, that avatar. Only by means of recorded revelation do we accept those injunctions. Thus, we trust the experience of someone else who is like what we want to become. So, again, whose rules are they really??
