Hey man, your video random appeared on my page so I decided to check it out. My biggest tip to you since you are beginning is to understand how to dribble. This could be through watching beginner basketball dribbling videos or creating your own workout. I think the most important dribbles to practice are pound dribbles, in-n-outs, hang dribbles, and behind the back. If you're able to manipulate the ball well enough, I think it truly opens up your game regardless if you can shoot or not because you can get to wherever you want on the floor. The shooting and game knowledge can come after because in pick up, let's be honest, nobody has good ball iq or is a knockdown shooter until you get to higher levels. I was also kind of a late bloomer like you too and picked up basketball in college when everyone around me was miles ahead. Take it as you will, but I just resonated a lot with your circumstance so I thought I'd share. Keep up the great work!
