Zach in session 2, his first Time back at Barber in over a year and only 2nd day on track this year. Nice job son.

First time at Barber in a year (19th days here total). First session of the day. Cold morning at 43F 🥶, but eneded up being a perfect day. Zach riding shotgun, top down. 2 seconds off my PB in the Z4 30i. 2 sec off my PB in Smurfette, not bad for I1, top down, and the extra ballast of a passenger.

My best time of 1:44.6 was in our M340i on 245/40/18 RT660s, with Hawk HP Plus pads. This is the Z4s best time of 1:48.81 on the same tires and stock pads. Next stop Barber, I think the Z4 will get closer to the 340 there.

At the track people always ask me, why track such a heavy car, why not buy a dedicated track car. There is something nice about tracking your daily driver and transforming it back and forth between street and track duty 🤙

Swapping out RT660 and DTC-60s for stocks.

This is a long video (the entire 8th session) and there is very little to see. I think there were 3 of us out there at the end. Heavy rain set in … is was too much fun, 3rd best session of the weekend. My first lap was 2:09 and my last was 1:48. This is the last session of day 1. Earlier in the day, I switched from Intermediate 1 (pass on straights only) to Intermediate 2 (pass everywhere). My son Zach hitched a ride for this session.

The big weekend was finally here. This trip to Roebling Road was the first time we brought both my M340i and Zach’s EcoBoost to track. This was session #2 on Saturday. So thankful I can do this with my son. Especially when he is this hard to catch. Nice job son.

Wow what a day. This morning I was May trying to figure out which way the track went. End of day 1, I have the start of what might resemble a slow line around this amazing place ... safe progress and lots of reasons to return next year. Ty MORPCA.
