All the important stuff they won’t teach you in school.
Real Estate is a Bad Investment
Real estate is overrated, and I’m so glad we didn’t fall for the trap. In 2022, my family almost bought into the ‘American Dream’ to look successful, but we decided not to-and thank God we didn’t. Looking back, it would’ve been a financial disaster. Real estate is expensive, risky, full of hidden costs, and far from passive income. In this video, I share exactly why I ditched the real estate route, what I did instead, and why it was the smartest move we ever made.

"I have no money to invest"
มุมมอง 144 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
The excuse ‘I have no money to invest’ is one we all make-I used to say it too. We think we need a bigger paycheck or a better job to start investing, but that’s total BS. It took me almost 30 years to realize it’s about your mindset and how you manage your money, not how much you make. In this video, I share how I changed my thinking, found money to invest even when it felt impossible, and why...
Health Insurance is a Scam
มุมมอง 107 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Health insurance is a scam we’ve been brainwashed to believe we need. It’s sold as a badge of success or virtue, but I’ve lived both sides-free Medicaid and private insurance-and it’s all BS. In this video, I break down the personal experiences that made me cancel my insurance for good and why I refuse to participate in this broken, abominable system in the U.S." For business inquiries: shatrav...
Investing for People Who Grew Up Broke
มุมมอง 1069 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I used to think investing was only for the smart, the wealthy, or people with fancy degrees. I’d watch young people making money and wonder what they knew that I didn’t. Growing up in a working-class family, no one taught me about the stock market-I thought it was out of reach. But the truth is, it all comes down to one simple thing, and when it finally clicked for me, everything changed. If yo...
The Consumer Culture Trap... It happened to me
มุมมอง 80812 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I thought I was just working hard to build a better life-taking on bigger projects, making more money-but I fell into the hustle culture trap without even realizing it. The harder I worked, the more I spent, caught in a cycle of lifestyle inflation that felt impossible to escape. It’s not just about making more money-it’s about how easily it all slips away chasing a ‘better’ life. Let me show y...
Are Your Grandparents Dying from Incompetence?
มุมมอง 4114 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I showed up unannounced to check on my grandmother, and what I found was horrifying. She was living in filth, with basic hygiene ignored, and the home aide didn’t see a problem-it was 'normal' to them. This is what happens when we don’t check in. Especially for seniors with late-stage dementia, there’s often so much more going on behind the scenes than anyone tells you. One unannounced visit co...
I got rugged... crypto scams
มุมมอง 36วันที่ผ่านมา
I got rugged on Ivanka Coin and lost it all. This is the brutal reality of crypto-scams, traps, and lessons learned the hard way. I’m not here to sugarcoat it or play the victim. Hopefully, my mistakes can save you from the same fate, enjoy. Dealing with dementia... my regrets with grandma and things I learned.
มุมมอง 25วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video, I dive into the harsh realities of dealing with a grandparent with dementia-something that hits like a freight train when it becomes your reality. From the horrifying, unspoken truths of their decline to the shocking failures of Medicaid and retirement systems, I share the personal regrets, warning signs, and raw experiences that made me painfully aware of just how real and ignor...
I was a Garbage Man for 90min - MOST GRUELING JOB EVER.
มุมมอง 686K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Last year in my city of Bayonne, NJ I got involved with the garbage scene. There was trash constantly blowing around the streets, people littering, and it seemed like a lot of it was coming from incompetent sanitation workers... UNTIL one man who worked there called me out, said come step in my shoes for a day, you'll change your mind - so I took him up on the offer and got it ALL on video. Thi...
"Always had money for rent", that is easy to say before your rent goes up 4X and your food goes up 2X. You speak of 2019, 2020 was the start of this insane inflation. Marriage can be the ruin of many frugal young men. Best to date frugal women lol. It can be hard with kids too as they want the latest 1K+ iPhone and video systems and sneakers, it never ends with them as they get mocked in school for having any less. My poor ass was locked in school by some kids who were just as poor as I. Here is my adult additude, "Who is making money here?" If the company is making money, I say no. Why should I spend my hard earnings to make you rich? I now purchase as it benefits me. Do I have $300 sweaters? Yes, paid $60. Do I have $2,000 coats? Yes, paid $150. Do I have $500 shoes? Yes, paid $100. And so on.
yup inflation deff played a factor, everything doubled in price but the quality and service only got worse!
Golden Handcuff problem? This is what you seem to be describing.
Exactly!
I’m lucky enough that I never liked cars. I’ve been investing all my money, looking forward to the next video!
When weather gets better we should all link up
lol- My job gives me insurance- with mine- I don't need referrals - I can just go straight to a specialist. Also - Without the insurance I make way to much money to get Medicare - So my open heart would have been 250,000$ - I would be either dead or bank rupt or have negative - 5 credit score lol. Also the title of the video should be called- "Insurance" is a scam - Car / home insurance is just as bad if not even worse lol.
whole insurance industry is one big fugazi
Where you filming these lol
in the hood
Before Georges st Pierre became a ufc legend, he was a street janitor due to the regional mma scene not making enough money

@@MichaelShatravka hmu bro! gotta catch up!
I was a garbageman for 34 years. Great job !!! It was an adventure !! I miss it. Public has no idea what it is like to get this job done. No Respect !! They throw out their garbage and they just want it gone. They think garbage pick up service is free !! They never want to pay for all the extra trash they put out. In a number of cities this is a six figure a year career. Great benefits and full pension. It's not for just anyone.
the jobs that deserve the most respect get the least... Retail too. I worked in a grocery store for 2 years as my first job and the amount of hatred, verbal abuse and disrespect I took some days made me actually want to off myself. Respect the people who ensure you can eat. The people keeping your lights and heat on in the dead of winter. The sewer workers making sure human waste doesn't fill the streets and back up through your drains. The oil workers making sure you have gas for your car and about a million other products you depend on every day. Some people never worked these kinds of jobs and it shows instantly in their demeanor.
all the garbage trucks in my area just use an arm built into them to lift the cans into the trucks. never seen people jsut get out and toss the bags in manually =0
I'm a sanitation worker for dpw town myself for 2 years so far I'm used too it but it's not easy to handle when you start
Hi Stephanie
Curious how much these guys get paid (obviously not enough), but can you make a living?
Sexiest garbage men ever!
this must be jersey lol cuz who throws stuff in a truck like that lol most sanitations puts stuff in smooth
Jersey itself is a giant
Trashmen are the backbone of society and very underappreicated
I knew he was gonna have a bad day when he said he’s volunteering lol I’ve been on the industry 11 going on 12 years very rewarding just need to be at the right company
Dream job right here
that guy with the headphones is strong
Being a garbage man is hard work I was a garbage man for one summer in the city is hard work main problem with trash is people people make the most rash
Garbage worker from Paterson New Jersey. It don’t get more wild den out here😂.
Dude said he been doing it 10 years n no cdl pathetic
Get a class b cdl n stop bitching easiest n mostly pay job you can have
This is the worst system i have ever seen, why are you doing it by hand?? Your bodies must be in pain. This do not happen in my country thank god i work in this industry
I’ve been at it for almost 4years now. We put up with allot at a fast pace all day rain shine snow whatever the day brings. All I can say is remember us come Christmas time. Tips are appreciated that time of year, a thank you card a wave or a smile. Baked goods ect…and don’t forget your mail person as well.
Keep up the good work, remember money has no smell and you guys earned every dime 💰👍😎
I work as a garbage man and literally ALL of my co-workers are suffering from Back and knee pain their spines are those of old men because of all the hard labour. Ive only been at it for a year and I already have pain in my spine aswell as both knees
Im 20 years old and have been working as a Garbage man for a year now, started at 19 the youngest employee in the entire company. One year later and I have back pain as well as both knees but Im pushing through earning an honest living
Let that pain be your motivation to get you CDL. You’re right it’s honest work and there’s nothing wrong with it. There are other aspects of this industry you can explore that won’t damage your body however. Wherever you go, always remember your time behind the truck. It’ll keep you grounded in the future.
Im going for an interview for rear load driver, is that good. I did toss cans a few years ago and ended up quitting . Alot too do with personal issues
For 90 min😂
PLEASE, if there is a God, see to it that Trump gets sentenced to do this for community service in his NY trial.
There is dignity in ALL work.
90 minutes?! Pfft, try 4 years in the Texas blazing sun!
damn shame all those stolen bikes goin in the hopper!
Where do you guys dump the garbage? Oh we got places, usually in Newark. Yeah, in some vacant lot. Nobody's gonna notice the difference in Newark ha!
LOL I love it! Missed it the first time I watched this..."this is what court sentenced community service should be!" Agreed! Maybe they'd end up with a new career rather than sitting home overdosing or robbing stores all day!
Jesus go easy on the guy! He's basically an office geek, pretty out of shape but he's doing this to show how hard these guys work. I've sprained my fucking ankle just walking down stairs for Christ's sake! I give this guy props! Like most jobs you don't just come out of the gate coordinated and in a rhythm that it takes.
I did this job...for ONE day back in 1985 when I first got out of college! I don't know where people get the idea "oh, you start at 7 but you're done by 2!" After a couple early restaurant dumpsters i grabbed my first barrel by 7am and put my last one down almost 7pm that night! Got home after 8pm with a half hour drive! Next day, I got up at 430am intending to go in but fuck man...I could hardly walk my legs and ass were tight and killing me!! I got back into bed lol!! I was a kid wtf did I know? It wasn't going to be a career but it would have been a good summer job!! It was a brutal day at times with dehydration and hunger but I made it through and was ready to go back. Kid I was with on the back had stereo speakers wired up high on the back and we tuned out all day! So were filled up the first time by 10am. I go to the dump with the driver and he asks if I wanna grab something to eat. I said nah all set thinking I'd make it til lunch. He didn't tell me we don't stop til we're full again the asshole! By the time we were loaded again about 130pm I had the fucking shakes! I kept up and kept moving but what the fuck buddy? You coulda told me that little detail! I'd say the worst part was a couple weeks later I got a check in the mail for $78 after taxes. That pissy amount for a twelve hour day kicking my own ass? It was GSX Corp out of Rowley, MA at that time, formerly SCA.
I retired as a firefighter after 32 years. Working at fires, especially on hot, humid days is brutal. It's been researched that working in a fire for even thirty minutes takes as much of a toll as most people suffer in a forty hour week. So with that said, I have always had more respect for garbage men in particular but others like iron workers, construction guys, even landscapers than I did for fellow firefighters. All of you guys do this day in day out, in all weather conditions and you don't get the large funerals or the accolades like we do. I use to enjoy pissing guys off that i worked with making this point. Oh, and generally, we get paid very well too for a career you only need a high school diploma and common sense to do.
