You already focused your red border for the week. Its literally two seasons old..unless you just started you've had plenty of time to shape the mini tool for sure. Go farm the public event on the leviathan for opulent keys and I'm sure you'll get it. Or you can simply focus it at reset until you fill out five.

Focusing doesn’t give it to you, it only gives you red borders once a week with the upgrade. You have to farm opulent keys, easiest farm is royal pools because more enemies spawn that drop chests, more chests spawn, the mini lost sector spawns more often, and almost every time you see the a sniper dot goes over your ghost in the bottom left corner, the slumbering doggos one in pleasure gardens spawns as well. For opulent energy just farm containment, if you need 5 patterns you will need 135 opulent umbral energy to focus it once a week on Tuesday reset, we have five weeks until light fall and presumably leviathan dissappears. If you have the upgrade once a week you are guaranteed a red border from the opulent chests you can unlock with opulent keys which you need to read each keys discription to find out where the chest is. Otherwise farm royal pools and pray, I started yesterday with no pattern progress on any opulent weapons, and now have drang baroque pattern, 4/5 beloved, 3/5 austringer, 0/5 calus mini. I’ll be focusing the calus mini because that’s not dropping for me, but everything else is. No idea if the red border is guaranteed to be one that you don’t already have the pattern for sadly so I’m farming just in case, but by my math I can get all the opulent weapons before light fall release with a little RNG if I start grinding now.

I know this pain... it took me Hrs to get the pattern for the mini but it was worth it

For the ikelos smg it took me 3 days of farming. The mini tool took me 5 hours. It’s just plain RNG
