Fun fact: There are four bells, and one of the quarter bells is a hour bell, because this bell is big, and has two hammers on it.

Worried about the Calloway - apparently has some hull issues that will require quite a bit of steel work. Looks like any decision to repair or scrap - like the Roger Blough - might be made by whomever buys the Great Lakes Fleet from Canadian National. Only 1 AAA ship has been scrapped. I'm really, really hoping it isn't 2.

I wish i could find a real time audio so I could put a speaker up in my belfry. I would buy outdoor clock faces and I would have my own chime

The entire system needs TLC! The hammers have springs to keep them from resting on the bell after striking, but are out of alignment, and the brass shavings under the clock drive means trouble!
