Good camera on it ❤
It really is a great camera
Are you ready stand by to catch me trees
Shhhhhhh
So economical
Lol just use the right hand thumb... No idea why people use two hands to lower the hammer.
@@jmkhenka because using the thumb of the hand holding the gun is dangerous and regularly results in guns firing.
Was that dude rolling a tire?
A woman actually. Not sure how it got down there, but the car on my side of the road was missing a wheel. That could have been a flat that took off when removed and not handled right or the spare.
crazy walk of shame
Ha! Ya got me!
stop uploading videos dopey
Why?
Look at that plump daddy!
Nothing wrong with that dude. I started on a single stage 30 some years ago.
Meanwhile I’m collecting Pennie’s to keep my lee 6000 pro fed. Lol. Not throwing shade. If I could I’d love to have this set up
Again some people shouldn’t own guns. Tried to decide the gun by pulling the trigger and gently lowering the hammer with his thumb but the hammer still slammed and boom. “Did IIIIIIII do thaaaaaaat” in a Steve Urkle voice. “Steeeeeeve”. Geez. Gun has a decocker. He rather use his stubby meat beaters like a dummy. Then post a video being surprised. IQ rating of a star fish.
And some people are too stupid to realize this was a purposeful demonstration of a decock gone wrong. Those same people are apparently too stupid to know that this gun does not have a decocker and that the only option to decock it is to manually do so. The preferred method being the thumb role. This particular demonstration was to show what happens when the pinch method fails.
Well you might want to change that title there Copernicus because a thumb thumb roll is totally different than docking too fast. Releasing that hammer fast yes. Big Dummy.
Oh whoops, this was the fast thumbroll, regardless, as the title states, purposely done too fast, to show what happens. So yeah, exactly as described it's demonstrated.
@@RobActiveShooterEngh 🙄🥴🤦♂️
That wasn't a decock at all
Yeah that was the point
Dang it’s always hard to tell from the SO side but it looks like it was probably a bad call. I always try to not even take it to that questionable place but in some instances it’s just hard to do that and the retreat position is often one of them.
He points out in his description, that the angles were reduced :)
I love those stages using the landscape, but those have to be a TOTAL pain to score and paste up...
nah it's too bad. You just gotta be able to bend over to put the tape on
how much cost you this full setup ?
15,000 dollars roughly.
Jaká zbraň?
Grande
?
What is the question?
I tried to love this thing, but spent so many hours trying to get it dialed in. Maybe in the normal world where one can stick to a preferred type of primer it could be great (CCI SRP are the only ones I could get to work). Ended up being much faster to load tubes by hand. Finally sent it back
That's too bad dude
Good info...thanks. BTW, you don't need to remove the pin to empty the tube, just dump them out the end where the magnet is attached.
I was doing that to show how it all works
How much do you have invested in this operation ? I am thinking about this for my self and family
The Revolution, Automated 1050 and Rollsizer are sitting at around $27,000 Canadian dollars. I have a few other presses and tools, so grand total now is probably close to 50k. But, I ran that auto 1050 for a long time and if the Revo hadn't come out it would still be running as my main machine.
Hey thats awesome setup. Im also looking into the Mark 7. Is there anyway to contact you, i could ask an actual owner some questions and advice? If so let me know where i could contact you. I will understand if you will be too busy. But thanks anyway.
Ours has an issue of spitting out a shell and jamming the machine if we get too far past 1800 rnds and hour. It will run great fast for a while, but then the centrifugal force will cause one to throw. Then we have to unjam it and clear the plate and reset and that takes like 5 or 6 minutes. 1800 is as far as we have gotten so far. Wondering how long you can run at 3500?
I can run all day at 3500. Key for me was making sure both springs are on the caae pawl, or else yes, cases can spit out at the higher speeds. I was running with just the top spring in the arm, but once I put 2 it runs solid.
@@RobActiveShooterEngh Could you make a video on how to get the two springs engaged. I only see a place for one. Thank you
is there any way for you to do a quick video on the swage height and primer pin bushing height? I have a revolution and it will run great for about 10 rounds then it'll eat a primer for no apparent reason... chasing if the pocket on the shell isn't getting swaged enough or if the primer is shifting on the pin before being pushed into the pocket.
Rob, do you have any Criticism/Complaints to mention, now that you've had it for a while? Can you see a way to make something, so it can hold 5000 Primers etc, so you can head out to the shops for a couple hours?
yeah no way to do that, and honestly, not a good idea. you never walk away from machines like this for very long. Gun powder and primers are a bad mix to leave unattended while running
Never leave a machine like this. Need to keep it fed with primers, powder, bullets, and cases. Also need to address stoppages or worse, problems that don't stop the machine but mangle things. Always watch or at least be nearby and listening. When you spend enough time with machines like this, you can hear when something is even slightly amiss.
great video. We just took delivery of our Mark seven revolution and it’s nice to see these videos of what other people are doing to dial theirs in
Now we know has the primers.
Wow.... I have not worked up the courage to run my Revolution that fast.
Can't get my primer collator to behave like that.
Just takes a little work with a small diamond file to sort out
@@RobActiveShooterEngh We also have horrible inconsistency in the primer station. Most everything else works reliably, but the primer "everything" is our sticking point. We can run 2500-3000/hr, but we'll be stopping (even at 1000/hr) about every 20 or 30 rounds. It's ridiculous. Our actual throughput is maybe 500-1000/hr with all the stoppages. Are you using new brass? Same headstamps? Which primers? Do you prep the brass (presize and decap it before running it through)? We thought maybe our problem was variations in primer pocket sizes (mixed range brass) or the occasional odd case (we have got 'brass pollution' (non-9mm mixed in) but that's a different issue). Our collator doesn't like moving the primers in so we have figured out a manual workaround. It's not the way you're supposed to do it, but "using a small diamond file" wasn't in the manual either. Seems like a bit of a design flaw if the solution is for the user to grind or file parts off or down. We're not hand fitting 1911s here. But the primer seating is also very unreliable (by very, I mean 1 in every 10-30 primers). Have you experimented with different brass and different primer brands?
@@adamwagner7105 Curious if you found solutions to all the issues you mentioned? Your comment is really making me hestitate purchasing one as an international buyer (warranty etc).
Does the Revolution have the ability to process brass?
Yup, if I didn't have the autodrive 1050 I'd process on the Revo before loading. I could do it all in one pass, but I like knowing that my brass is 100.perxeng ready to go for loading and only run into any possible problems like debris in cases, or what not, during the processing stage.
That powder drop is the real champ
Why would you use those primers if they are such a hassle? They could be free and not worth the inconvenience.
In this market any primer is a good primer.
I'm surprised the powder can all drop into the case at that rate.
The benefit of that double throw, even with rifle it throws it fast
Does the light in the middle of the dies come with the unit?
No that's from Reloading Innovations
Rob Engh Thanks!
I’m happy if I can mange to load 2K in a week of steady effort. Always fun to watch this in action.
Robert, how did you get a revolution in Canada? They will only ship the Evolution now
Yeah I was one of the first to get an order in, and back then it was only the Revolution that was available. Due to ITAR stuff it was a bit of a pain. I think you can still do it, but there will be a higher price due to paperwork
As noted in the Monitor screen, actual output is 3150ish an hour on the 3500 setting. But if running with a zero index it would be just a bit slower than 1 round a second. 3600 would be 1 round a second
Maybe it’s just me but it’s so interesting to watch.
Makes me sad.
Another hour of that and you should have enough for tomorrows practice !
SNOW GORILLA 5 minutes of that is my reloading in a month
Just finished another 2,000 on my Mark 7 650 but at 810 rph hardly worth making a vid for Hope to see ya on the range soon
I haven't seen many videos of the 650 system running, so you should do some!
Another reason for a good dash cam hopefully you are not the one killed by one of these assholes
That’s intense.
What is your Station Die Setup Rob, and Clutch Setting 2 *WOW*
Do you lube your Brass?
What year was this filmed, and is that a saddle?
2003 I think or 2002
ah my about 800/hour on Dillon XL650 with Bullet feeder seems slow. But it's enough for me :). Nice machine, but at that price, well, I'm not shooting that much to justify a cost. But from an engineering standpoint, it's fuckin awesome machine.
Have you tried DAAs brass marker?
Ha ha ha have not been that up close and personal with a bucket of bullets before so thats off my bucket list
I WANT one!
