What scissors and comb do you use.mike❤
Hey Joe I use Denman and YS park combs, I have to use good quality combs. The scissors on this video are Fusions, I will only use Japanese steel but the Fusions are a very responsible price scissor as I won't pay to much for scissors as us barbers do cut dirty hair. so I look for scissors Japanese steel price range £100-£250.

as the 'model' in this tutorial i was very pleased to be asked to sit for Mike. Before covid i'd been having a #2 all over that gradually morphed into a #2 on the back and sides with comb and scissor over the top. I mentioned in passing that i'd been a 'psychobilly' in the eighties with a vert tight flattop and Mike said that it was now on the syllabus for the students to learn and that they could do it for me. Very happy with the results every time and as someone whose hair is thinning its great to be able to have a style that looks very smart.

Something the vast majority of barbering videos don't explain is the 'barber's eye'. You, as professional barbers 'see' something in the comb that the rest of us don't. Might make for an interesting video specifically for clipper/comb.
