Yeah he's so fun to watch, no lead is safe when the king is on the track. His patience is something that u cant teach or train into a dog. Either they have it or they dont.

Thats actually probably the fastest greyhound ive ever seen. In running did so much erratic. Seemed to take a break. I wouldn't say didnt try but went a bit oh im just chilling a few times in that run. If that dog doesn't become an absolute superstar its cause his mind isnt completely on the job. I hope not as thats one fast dog and a potential fastest dog in Australia. Early stages i know but im not kidding.

So there's no way to teach him how to run the turns?

Bit of a head scratcher to me on why they ran Palawa King in this race. Imo, Dubbo at that distance didnt suite him at all. The back straight where he usually really goes to work seemd too short for him to crank it up, and overall distance is at least 50 meters short of what i consider doable for him and 100m short of what i think is his best distance . Bella Uno really had no excuse, congrats to Overflow Beau and his connections he was due to win a big one.

This dog should have been stepped up to middle and longer distance a while ago and he’d be on his way to earning a million + in earnings . 🙄

The greyhound industry is still crooked af. Tried reporting a trainer 2 years ago in Queensland. Racing Queensland didn't want to know about it. Racing minister Grace Grace and her office didn't want to know about it. The rspca did however the time it took to get anything done they had cleaned up their property. Still got done for dogs on their property that they hadn't disclosed. Guess when you can't make an honest living you better get a domesticated animal to do it for you. You're a bunch of grubs. Your industry will be gone soon and you can blame yourselves.

And you can have 3 or 4 dogs that always win there field trials in super fast times but then on race day they apparently cant lead. Cant win. Cant run even close. Can all of a sudden become dehydrated only on race day etc. Strange sport. Any big name gets a dog they win ridiculously crazy amounts of races in not always times that should be winning so many races. If you criticise and your dog going shit but trial fast get a trusted friend to field trial it without you there. Dont tell anybody. Dont text what you do. Do it in person. If your dog flies with someone else handling it you got em. Dont forget it. Write it down. They got all mine. Fast as fuck and now they reject me getting my license back. They can all go get fucked. I had blokes i worked with that i thought were mates. I raced early on with fast dogs i created. After they won on a day he raced he set me up. I didnt pick it but he said i can get you better odds i know the bookie. So i give him the$$. When mine won after a erratic race literally 1 min after the race he gave me the cash not the ticket and was clearly very pissed off. He didnt back mine. He fucked up. I thought he was a trustworthy workmate. Now i know hes a piece of shit. Take care John Polidano.

Oh and I said this all from the heart. I rarely speak to any trainer anymore. I got made out as a grub. But I got the grub treatment. But I will put my balls on it once they find a dog with its nose gone and microchip cut out there will be no more. MARK MY WORDS! Good luck and safe racing all.

No dramas with Tony. No dramas with anyone racing dogs. No drama with 99.9% of dog people. But there is a new thing brought in for nose recognition. I want to make it clear as an outsider looking in. An ex trainer. Someone who fell in love with greyhounds at 11 years old and not through family. What you now have is the next extension trying to finish you. It will only take finding 1 single dog with its nose cut off and the sport will be gone. I got nothing to do with this. Whilst I'm not happy with my treatment in the industry I don't want it gone. I just want it fair for all at all tracks. Nothing else. But I will say it. Once a dog is found with its nose cut off and it's chip gone the sport will be over. Be on your toes. Don't giveaway dogs unless you know who's taking it. There address.. Otherwise you will be part of the fall. This is a legit serious message. Accept your losses. Find a good home or keep the leftovers. If you all keep the leftovers there is a big chance you can fight for compensation weekly for keeping each animal. All you gotta do is get together and fight together for a retirement funding program. They make so much money from the sport. If they find that it will eliminate most of the issues. Don't go down the dark path. This is merely someone telling you from the now outside if you fuck up it's all over. Good luck!
