Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. If you want to test the game first I would recommend buying the 2 starter decks from set 3 Inklands. You should be able to find these most places like your LGS or even retail like Target. Set three added the new “Location” type cards so I think it would be the best place to start learning from and then you can look into picking up set 1/2 cards later. This way you should only have to spend about $30 for 2 decks before you decide to dive all the way in.

I’m in EU where it’s around 20€ for a starter deck, and on Cardmarket i can get the chapter 1 deck on your file for around 16€ so i guess i’ll check for other chapter1 and compare, i still préf to start with these and add new rules later, the simple it is a first, the easier my gf will pick Up aha thx !

Thanks for the shout out! I would definitely keep it sealed for now and buy the singles to build a deck with. Especially now that locations are in the 3rd set.

Starter Decks run $16, booster packs $6, and boxes $120-140. They sell at LGS and retail like Walmart and Target.

@@NorthGaTCG sheesh, so literally same price as pokemon basically. But I'd imagine probably only 1/20th of a following at most.. not knocking it, that's just crazy to me haha I never knew these were a thing.

Yea - only been out like 9 months so far so definitely smaller than Pokemon. We will see where it goes!
