Investigating crypto projects from the user's perspective.
Spot these memecoin rugpull risks!
This is a short video that outlines how to do basic checks against risk of rugpulls on memecoins. These tips work for other tokens as well.
In the video I'm using birdeye.so, solanatracker.io, and dexscreener.com
The three main types of rugpull are:
1. Inflation of supply and dumping it
2. Keeping a large proportion of the supply at token creation and dumping it
3. Selling the underlying liquidity on the DEX
In the video I don't address the third risk as it is somewhat tricky to track down and isn't necessarily a rugpull if the token price hasn't appreciated significantly. You can find how to check for it by googling "how to check if LP tokens have been burned"

To do my transactions I tried the ZilPay browser extension wallet, but found it to be lacking. It required me to look up the smart contract address to show the FPS token. I ended up using Torch mobile wallet, which had a better experience, but was a bit tricky to use as it has a "funding" wallet and a "smart" wallet, which I didn't use. @AaronRice-lx1wj The issue is most people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for losses, so they get burnt, no offense intended. Generally speaking, professional traders are ideal reps for trading.

Haha, I did show the simplest way to find a memecoin, which is to just look at the most active fresh coins on dexscreener. Arguably, this isn’t research, but there isn’t much to go on in the first hours. Alternately, you could find a Telegram group by meeting people at a crypto conference, but I don’t have evidence that these are any better.

I don't get paid for my reviews. Thought it was a rather pessimistic take too (although trying not to say it too blatantly). Taking on X with little differentiation is suicidal, even if the product works.
the fusion hub is so messy and the game is glitchy a bit. tried to stake my fps but failed thrice. must be the failure of Zilliqa blockchain... aka the slowest blockchain in the crypto space

It wasn’t immediately obvious how much more I could do with the FPS token than I could with a non-crypto token. They could let players rent out gear, for example. So, I could get a good gun, but then I could deposit it in a DEX and someone could buy it or rent it via a smart contract. Another way would be to see inside the game how long someone has had their 100FPS staked to give prestige.
Disappointing to see you have missed the killer app “FOCUS”. And the pos upgrade which is in2-3 weeks. Focus is the all years of work and will be launched by June. Fully decentralised. Perhaps you can revisit Deso casework again. Desofy and Diamondapp is provided for people as a replica. But Focus is a real socialfi. Where people can post earn and trade

Why?
Electron is the second token created in the atomics protocol. With the greatest mining difficulty and very aggressive burning. And soon comes smart contracts on the bitcoin network. AVM atomicals virtual machine. Hal Finney was right and now Arthur, creator of the atomicals protocol, will launch the AVM beta.
