There are some fatal gene combos but none in this pairing that I’m aware of. It was both male and females first time breeding so that could be a factor but in reality I have no idea why it went bad my best guess is it was pathogenic clutch meaning the mom fertilized the eggs from old follicles her self they can have lots of issues. It was a small sample size but being a het to visual pairing only %50 of the babies should have been visual clowns. We hit 100% visuals. Granted there were only 3 and we could have hit good odds but out of the 3 they had %50 change of being enchi and 50% being cypress and out of 3 zero hit that odds. That’s a long shot to miss. If it was partho the mother’s genes would pass down as the dads and moms. Resulting like a “visual clown to visual clown” pairing resulting in 100% clown off spring being all female. The survivor looks like an extreme version of the mom with more spotting.

100% agree it could of been way worse. One other sad point I forgot to mention is my brother passed away a couple years back and all its toys and collectibles were stored in my parents house. So that a bummer. But definitely glad it was not worse than it actually was.

Sorry to hear about your brother and I have a lot of Star wars toys I have collected over the years also so I get it ❤️

He was the same way star wars legos bionicals video games thousands of comic books. All kinds of action figures pretty much were his paychecks went from the time he started working till 36 when he passed. A life time of collecting
