Ruined roof from mechanical damage.
Just a random insurance claim inspection in GA. Lot of the mechanical damage boxes are checked on this one. I'm doing my best to say the thing without saying it here, but we all know how this happened.

So what happens once you can prove these are man made? Are the home owners in on this? Or do you think they’re clueless?

That is spot on video, thank you so much , I’m a technician and that was explained perfectly , I replaced my battery, but removed the positive fuse block and checked , found some green in connectors , but charging now , likely need an alternator soon , so this was extremely helpful, thank you , roger
@@rogergodin6443 hell yea 👍🏽. Thanks for watching bro
Huge thanks dude. Nissan packs everything so tightly on these trucks that most repairs only have one way of working. One note (sorry if it's been covered) - the bottom bracket is only held on to the engine block by one bolt. It shifts on that bolt really easy when prying the alternator out. It's easy to assume the bracket is bent or the store gave you the wrong alternator when it doesn't line up. Just loosen that bolt when installing the alternator. It makes it a little easier. Thanks again for this video.
@@nagosnell thanks for watching and helping 👍🏽👍🏽
I drive a 24 SV rwd Frontier and I'm getting 30mpg on the country roads of east TN where the speed limit is 55 and on the interstate I'm getting 25.6 based on what the truck is telling me. Great video! I know you’ve streamlined/edited it. Did it take a fair bit of “wiggle” to get the old alternator out. I’ve got all three bolts out but it isn’t wiggling my side to side. Mostly just moving up and down
@@russwehnerjr2077 you’re going to have to push/pull sideways enough to press that …fitted nut? I’m not sure what it’s called but it has to compressed to pull out. I did this on my 2007 Frontier and it wasn’t too difficult on the passenger side until I got to the driver side. I replaced struts and control arms. However, when you get to the driver side the steering column is in the way and will not allow enough room to take out the bolt on the control arm. I had to move the steering column which needs to be put back in perfect position. This dude makes it sound like it’s basic auto 101 stuff.
@@user-dh6cd3bz8q on the drivers side, did you flip-flop the nuts and bolts? My truck had the nut on the side where I didn’t have to pull out anything else. But if was installed the other way around I don’t see any other way to slide the bolt out. Hope that makes sense. I believe it was the rear nut and bolt on the drivers side. Thanks for choking in about that.
@@TheAdamConnersno sir. I’m sure it’s not detrimental to do so but I decided to keep it to engineering specs. I put a leveling kit on it when I first bought it which destroyed my ball joints. I decided to bring it back to stock and checked this video out for a quick reference. Got to the driver side and said F#%!. All good though. Lesson learned.
Yea factory they have the driver side rear bolt where either you a screwed or you have to remove the column. Unless your like me and just cut the damn thing then go back the opposite direction and piss on that factory specs. I see it as a money grab for the dealer to make a lick on the noob who sees that and gets intimidated. Also if a buddy is with you and slightly pulls the column as you wiggle the bolt it will come on out. I helped do one that way also. Not the end of the world but seems someone done changed the creators to the way I’m explaining so if it is then it’s pretty easy.
@@thinkcreate5596 no cutting, I’m better than that. I just marked the position of the steering column and fingered her out. That’s what she said !
@@thinkcreate5596 I’m with you on that. Easy money for the dealer
