CHILD RIGHTS
The history of child rights is a complex and evolving one that spans centuries. The recognition and protection of children's rights have evolved as societies have progressed and become more conscious of the needs and vulnerabilities of children. Here is a brief overview of the history of child rights:
Ancient civilizations: In ancient societies, children were often treated as the property of their parents or guardians, and their rights were largely non-existent. Their fate was determined by their families, and child labor was common. The ancient Greek and Roman societies did not offer much protection or consideration for children's rights.
Middle Ages: During the Middle Ages, children were often treated as mini-adults, and child labor was prevalent in agricultural and craft activities. There was limited understanding of the specific needs and vulnerabilities of children, and they were generally viewed as subservient to adults.
Early philanthropic efforts: In the 18th and 19th centuries, philanthropists and social reformers began to raise awareness about the mistreatment of children and called for the protection of their rights. One significant figure in this movement was Robert Owen, a Welsh social reformer, who advocated for better working conditions and education for children in the early 19th century.
20th-century developments: The 20th century marked significant progress in recognizing children's rights on an international level. After World War I, the League of Nations addressed child labor issues, leading to the adoption of the Geneva Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1924. This declaration called for the protection of children and their right to education, health, and well-being.
United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: In 1945, the United Nations (UN) was established, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was adopted in 1948. Article 25 of the UDHR specifically recognized the rights of mothers and children to special care and assistance.
Declaration of the Rights of the Child: Building on the UDHR, the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959. This declaration outlined ten principles, including the right to a name and nationality, education, and protection from neglect and exploitation.
Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC): The most significant milestone in the history of child rights came with the adoption of the CRC by the UN General Assembly in 1989. The CRC is an international human rights treaty that sets out the civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights of children. It has been ratified by almost every country in the world, making it the most widely accepted human rights treaty in history.
Since the adoption of the CRC, significant progress has been made in advancing child rights worldwide, but challenges persist in ensuring its full implementation in various regions and contexts. Efforts continue to protect children from exploitation, violence, discrimination, and to provide them with access to education, healthcare, and a safe and nurturing environment.

Principles of public adminisyration .. Hierachy ..dicision of work there bettween officers it also leads to romove burden as well as but increase time or red tapism . Authoriry. It provide authoroty of who can do work ad well as come respinsibility with that if that person have power to do work so that person have respnsibility also to do their work . Unity of conmand ..it means that only one manager shoykd be there to give command to person so that dies not leads to conflict solution . Delegation means division of work but all work does not need to divide Co orfination ..it shpuld be there to comete any eork between person .
