@outdoorsmansgarage you could get two of these and bolt em together. Lose two caster and make a longer axle for the rear.

Yeah kids bring everything in on me. I still aint a 100% but im getting there. It puts me down for a week every time I get anything significate.

@BadDonkeyGarage yeah I kept it but I've seen them break alot. I guess the plastic ones could too but glass cracks alot easier.

@darkmatterlull2553 oh I do more than you know. He had a regal almost like this when I was a kid. When i was able to afford it i got him another. So it was like I was 6 again.

@DetroitJohn2117 I was aware of Woodard but there is a famous black car popular for drag racing on 8 mile So 🤷‍♂️. Not a resident myself. I also saw that 9 mile was where most the car meets happened. Ive also heard about some road out near the airport. Im guessing its like kentucky in the 50s-60s and any place there was a good 1/4 stretch someone raced on it.

@@jeffreyrigged yes throughout the years there has been many different roads used for drag racing at one time French rd by the City airport was pretty popular. My parents generation(in Detroit) 50s and 60s Woodward was used for cruising. My generation late 70s and early 80s Gratiot avenue was the popular cruising spot. Which also has a once a year called the Gratiot Cruise last weekend was the Woodward Cruise this year my opinion 80% every day driving cars 20% old school / custom cars. @@DetroitJohn2117 Thanks for the comments and watching. I am planning to do a bigger video on the car history in the future. I was pleasantly surprised by detroit and all its history. Alot of people like to down the city. I will mention the woodward cruise/drag connection as well next time I do. It will probably be a year or so and we are planning on taking a revival car up there. I only had 2 days during this trip so alot of the city I couldnt cover. Thanks for checking it out.

@joekisselburg4464 you can get air back in doing that unless you use a jar and tubing. That also takes someone to crack them while pumping. We also do ours on my lift so I can't climb in and pump it. This way makes it way easier for one person. Thanks for the watch. I'll do a video using it soon.

Yeah while I like the look they get removed asap. Ive never pulled one that didnt have a issue or two under. This one is getting patched and repainted all one color. My 72 will get the top done the color of its oem top but in a gloss metallic and bottom the original color. Thanks for watching.

@infernaldaedra I think so. My grandpa had a dark brown 72 electra. So I'm going to use that paint color on roof and the oem tan on the bottom. Should really pop in the sun.

@thomasbartley9606 it's faded a bit it's a very pale yellow. It's a pretty car. The long video you can see it open doors to see it's non faded color around the seals.

Idk myself. They look ok but man they are sponge. This car is a 56k mile car and would be almost perfect if it wasnt for that. Still not a terrible fix but other than that the car is solid as can be.

it was a very popular style choice at the time nowadays pretty much your whole vehicle will rot and fall apart as soon as the plastic dries out

@marinellahobbyfarm-manongb4891 idk I've drove some cars with healthy cams in them on the street. Thirsty but definitely could drive it all day. I've not drove this one yet. Still got some things to fix. It was abandoned for years.

@TheMarky26 engine parts are pretty easy. Body panels are iffy. Stage 1 convert if real definitely worth the trouble. Pretty rare. Most are cloned cars.

@@jeffreyrigged it's numbers matching..Ive checked already..It's in darn good orihinal condition..I live in the middle of nowhere though and kind of stumbled on this car.. Might try and make a deal on it this week.

@TheMarky26 you definitely should. What year is it? If it's a 70 stage 1 don't expect it to be cheap.
