The Cuyo Archipelago or Cuyo Islands, is a group of about 45 islands lying to the northeast of the Philippine island of Palawan. It lies south of Mindoro and between Northern Palawan and Panay. Wikipedia
Location: Sulu Sea
Highest elevation: 251 m (823 ft)
Highest point: Mount Bonbon
Population: 48,959 (2020)
Area: 50 sq mi (130 km2)
Region: Mimaropa
ulibanua
banua ang cuyo
oldest municipality in palawan
There is no direct connection from Palawan Island to Cuyo Island. However, you can take the taxi to Puerto Princesa airport, fly to Iloilo, then take the travel to Magsaysay. Alternatively, you can take the taxi to Puerto Princesa airport, fly to Boracay, then take the travel to Magsaysay.
It is considered as one of the most ancient and unique forts in the Philippines which was build in 1680. In 1762 one of the British ships that invaded Manila fired at the Cuyo fort but it was not damaged at all.
Its territory includes the western half of Cuyo Island, as well as Bisucay, Caponayan, Cauayan, Imalaguan, Lubid, Manamoc, Pamalican, Pandan, Round, and Quiminatin islands, all part of the Cuyo Archipelago.
Cuyo is the oldest town in Palawan which has a culture of its own and was preserved for more than 350 years. During the Spanish colonization of the Philippines, Cuyo became the second capital of Palawan after Puerto Princesa from 1873 to 1903.[5]
From the sea, Cuyo Island's first visible landmark is a lighthouse by the pier. Many of the streets leading to the town have already been cemented but the town has preserved the Hispanic plaza-iglesia structures. Dominating the town centre is Cuyo's 1860 , and fort built by the Spanish and finished in 1680. Nearby stands a schoolhouse, and a monument of national hero Jose Rizal.
The municipality is served by Cuyo Airport in the neighboring municipality of Magsaysay. The town and its cultural and natural environs are being considered to be nominated in the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Site declaration in the future.

I just push by the bean an pop it to the surface and eat it
Oh I used to eat the whole thing 😭😭😭
ah ok, so I was doing it correctly lol
Sarap jn,,,mababait mga tao Jan,,
This was offered as an appetizer on a recent cruise. I thought they were snap peas, and could eat them skin and all. The one food item that I needed an instructional training on!
I used to eat the skin with it
I ate them and didn’t no how to eat it I thought I was supposed to eat the whole thing almost choked on the peel lol
Actually I ate the whole thing … my poor stomach Im sorry
When i first tried it i ate it with the peel and everything. I was alone so no one was there to correct me until i felt this was weird so i looked it up. Had a good laughing session right after.
Ich esse die wie geröstete Kürbis- oder Sonnenblumenkerne 😊
Oh good so I am eating them the right way. Lol yay
I am Japanese. No, you hold it side ways and pop it in your mouth
uhhh no that's not how you do it. First of all you insert it into your rectum, that way it gets direct passage to the instestinal system and it bypasses the gag reflex which edamame is notorious for triggering, at least on me, according to my friend Carl.
In the Philippines we eat the whole thing 😂😂😂
yea, but some edamame have a little worm, so i prefer open first
It’s delicious
That's how I do it ;)
I eat the whole thing
So that's why the Chinese waitress at thr restaurant was looking at me in a weird way 😂 I peeled it because it was my first time eating it 😳
At least you peeled it 😅... I munched the whole thing😂 😊
Pano pag may dumaang bagyo diyan? Saan nagtatago mga tao?

Love how this shows everything except the onion
Would have been worth watching IF the onion was visible and not obscured by the sumscribe logo!

Dinaanan na ba yang isla ng malakas na bagyo?
@@Lenilugz5406 opo lagi Yan dinadaanan noon
I ate the entire thing lol 😆
Not going to lie, I just tried to do the same thing and looked up this video after finding it too tough to eat! 🤣
Dang! I just ate the entire thing last week, it was rough and tough. And i left the rest of the basket without eating it. I should have watched this video earlier.
Me too..just yesterday..twas my 1st time eating eat.😂😂😂
I ate the whole thing and it wasn't bad. But I guess that's wrong. Is the rest of it bad for you?
Actually, better with just the beans.
