No sir. I would not recommend at all. If you wire to 4ohm yes but no amp that is a real 3k+ will last long on factory electrical. If you choose to run it anyway just watch your voltage and clip light like the life of the amp depends on it.

It is their last priority really, unloading trucks, packing dealer orders on pallets, loading trucks etc always comes first. When they have time they ship them out in batches. I’ve ordered off of the yard sale about 6 times now and I’ve gotten every thing, just gotta be patient.

They are connected inside so you can use them both as inputs, one as an input and one as an output for another amp, or just use one. Think of them like an RCA splitter because internally they are connected. So if you have both RCA’s plug them both in regardless of Left or Right labeled on the rca and ignore the “out” label on the bottom rca Jack on the amp. Hope that helps.

I’m still running it in my daily and I am very impressed with the SIA 3500. I never planned to run it for long, just test in vehicle, but I haven’t felt the need to switch it out because it performs extremely well. I do not use the crossovers on the amp and am using my head unit for the crossover points, sounds great with zero problems. I am not a fan of full-bridge amps , especially the SFB and clones, but the SIA (SFBv2) line has won me over.

@@MrJoe478 yeah I wouldn’t recommend the SFB even though it’s 95%+ user error the amps are very sensitive to any abuse, the SIA has much better protection circuitry. Stay away from the SFB. Plus the SIA does really well on a reactive load (subwoofer) still getting 3k @2 and 1880w @4.

Bro if I had to do it again I'll go with the SIA-3500 all day. Those E-series 500RMS is Like 700RMS. 3000 watts on them 12's will be Prefect. Trust me. The only reason I didn't get 12's is because 10's fit prefect for my OTR Rig. Bro You gotta get the right box built for them 12's and they sound like SA Classics 12's. My installer let me hear 2 SA 8's, and bruah i swear I was tempted to get 4 of them bad boys for my Rig. It's the Box!! You'll see.

It’s in my car running a single U-18, no problems from it whatsoever. It never gets really hot and it has never shut off or went into protect. This was my first fullbridge amp and I wouldn’t recommend the SFB’s but they seem to have addressed almost every problem the SFB line had. I didn’t plan to run it long but it’s doing so well I haven’t made time to change it out.

@@KeeneBraden I’m really considering this amp… I will run 4 Sundown E8s at 2 ohm… This amp is supposed to do 3000 watts at 2 ohm. They are saying this new run of full bridge could take over.

@@Bellincion do I think it could handle it? Yes. I wouldn’t run it that way though. The benefit of the regulated power is that you don’t have to wire below 1ohm to get close to rated power. I’m STILL running it with a NsV4 15 right now @ 1ohm and it’s never gotten too hot, shut off, no problems.

I always recommend dual inputs but if your run from the battery isn’t more than a few feet it’s not necessary. 3 ft of 1/0 can pass like 1000A. Dual inputs do add efficiency

Yes sir! Wire the D2 to 1 ohm and you will love it. I also tested the amp on a NSv4 without a charger to make sure the amp wouldn’t “pop” if it dipped into the 12V’s. @BASSNSANE yeah I’m not a fan of taramps but I’ve had success using them in applications. Maybe it’s finicky, maybe some other issue. I will say the build quality of the SIA line is better than the taramps. Thicker heat sink, thicker pcb, more secure component mounting, potentiometers (knobs) that you don’t have to use a glue gun on to hold in place because bass can move the dials etc. All amps are better than no amp! Plus they put out power

Yea the SIA has better crossovers, protection circuitry, AND the regulated power which is awesome. I am currently running a single U-18 on one of my SIA3500’s at 1ohm. It loves it.

Question, you still rocking that amp? I see it for sale for 425$ on down4sound, what's your opinion on that price? Can't really find much else around that price that hits 3k and is quality

@@rexnhogz no sir. But it was on adequate reserve. Maybe 240ah agm or it might have been 70ah LTO. If I forgot to shoot the the clipping indicator while playing that’s a mistake on my part. This is my first full bridge amp because I’m not a fan generally. SFB, B2, Wolfram O series, all trash full bridge designs. The sia fixed all the issues I knew those boards had. Better crossovers (24db slope) more protection circuitry so they don’t pop if the wind blows wrong. I am very impressed with this and and the reason I ran it like this was because I didn’t want to install until I was sure it wouldn’t pop a flame.

@@KeeneBraden I like the space saving aspect of them and thats about it. I have a sfb2000d under the seat of my wrx and I like it but it needs a steady current to it to not clip and that kinda defeats the purpose when you need lithium but I have an under hood titan 8 coming whenever it shows up. been waiting since april. think I may upgrade to this one I have a ds18 exl xxb high excursion that is power hungry as hell it laughs at the 2000d.

No I have not. The amp would most likely perform worse from everything I’ve read and heard from people running them. One of the main advantages and points to a regulated power board is to NOT have to wire to .5 to get 3k but can instead wire to 2ohm and see similar power.

I think $285 for a U-18 (had reversed terminals, just flipped them) and similar for the amp. So maybe $600-$650 roughly.

@@riveralley well, yes that’s the only thing I found. Might have some blemishes as well. It was $285 but that also was before price increases across the whole industry

The yard sale is the last priority. I’ve had subs shipped in a day and this amp took about 10 days from “label creation” to actually shipped.

The crossovers. Too wide a range to set 80hz and below. That’s all I really can say.

You have to use the high pass for the subsonic on that amp

@@jasenlauver4862 that’s every amp UNLESS you are sending it a signal that has already been processed… like from a DSP. Dayton 408 for example. Open up the LPF and turn the HPF as low as it will go.

@@KeeneBraden That specific amp the Highpass filter is used for your subsonic filter. So you will set it to 25-30 depending on where your box is tuned, and it serves as your subsonic. And that’s not true because mono full bridge bass amps do not come with a high pass filter only full bridge amps do like the Sfb.

I did test it on a u-18 yard sale sub. I have 2 U-18s from the yard sale and I cannot for the life of my find out why they couldn’t sell new. Must be a freq response discrepancy or something weird. Highly recommend the yard sale

That was a sweep from 60hz to 20hz. It was moving the woofer great at 20hz. I wouldn’t use the crossover on the amp though, use your Head unit crossover or dsp if you have one.

My it’s like it hit all the High bass bout not the low base i clips alot

Sorry to hear that. I know the crossovers on the amps are to wide ranging and the slope (cutoff) isn’t steep enough. I was getting voices etc until I used a dsp and/or the Headunit crossover
