Wow! --> I know this interview is already in the can, but I wish you could talk to him about his time at Fulham. He was there the same time as Clint Dempsey. Fulham has a special place in the hearts of Americans because of all the Yanks who've played there over the years. --> BTW, that Fulham kit you have hanging in the background is from an earlier team than when Jari played. That's got to be Van der Sar's GK shirt.

I had never heard of Jari Litmanen before this video series. I have an excuse, having grown up in the USA. But, I'm glad this series has given me another great player to admire.

He's a great guest, with a wealth of experiences and stories. --> About that Milan shirt: That's wild! I don't like that it has 2 pieces. But, a throwback, with the stripes having a "looks like" mesh print would probably be pretty good.

So basically for him Oscar Piastri, the best driver in McLaren, is invisible.

Mika mentions the "team" a lot but totally forgot to mention that there are two cars and two drivers in that garage. Where was the BALANCE when Piastri was totally silenced from the narrative. Lando, Lando, Lando for the first 50%. Was there even ONE image of Piastri's 81 car? Surely, constructors of videos like this know that there is an international audience, not just UK centric. Very very poor amateur video with Mika raving on nostalgically like ex politicians and burnt out athletes who still want attention. Very poor.

I haven't seen many subs, but I always tune in to listen to these. And the incites are good and honest. Reminds me of Nico Rosberg.

Remember last year when McLaren were still struggling, and Mika said by mid-season they’d be fighting Red Bull, and everyone called him insane? Now look where McLaren is at.

--> Another great segment, Jay! Litmanen continues to be an excellent subject for an interview. He's open and honest, and you do a good job of letting him answer at his own pace. --> For me, Bergkamp is one of the reasons that I really began to appreciate soccer. Growing up in the USA, we didn't (and still don't) have a soccer culture. However, I have a Mexican friend, and my wife is Belgian; so, I had a reason to get interested. Following the '94 World Cup, I began to look around for clubs to support, and one of the clubs I settled on was Arsenal (the other being Celtic). This was at the start of the Wenger era, and Bergkamp was a big part of that.

This episode was special! Thanks again for having me 🔥
