The C6 Automatic is rare in the GT500. That C6 was an option in 1967 for the 1967 Ford Fairline GT 427 Drag Car. In my looking I found that something around 58 1967 GT500's got the C6 Auto. My Dad owned a 1967 GT500 C6 Night Mist Blue from 1968 to 1976. I drove it as much as He did. Leaving it in Drive the shift point around 5500 rpm Easy to burn rubber from a dead stop - Shift into 2nd 43mph and burn more rubber and then shift into 3rd around 85mph and chirp the tires. One time east of San Diego on Highway 8 six lanes open stretch and floored it doing 75 ..... the 2nd 4 Barrel kicked in like an afterburner threw me in the back of the seat and in just a few seconds the roadside is flying by me - I look at the speedometer and I'm passing 130 mph and climbing. I ease off the gas to start slowing down. Scared the heck out of myself. I might add that the 67 GT500 did not a good rep for running that good compared to the 68 GT500 ......... reason being with 2 Holly 4 Barrels very few people knew how to "Tune" them. My Dad knew a "Guy" ( A Race Mechanic) his specialty was Tuning Multiple Carbs. He lived in San Diego and made a lot Money doing that throughout Southern California. You have an Extra Nice Rare 1967 GT500 with that C6. Also , I might add that I remember hearing that some of those C6 GT500 had the C6 taken out for a 4 Speed back then. So I have always been curious how many of the original C6 GT500's still have their C6 ......... You might want to look into that - it was probably the first Performance Automatic . If I had the Money I would buy one. And my Best Friend in College had a 1965 427 Street Cobra - the miles my Friend and I put on that Cobra going to beach and up in the mountains. Lucky to have grownup in the Hod Rod Age.
68 Camero please 🙏 ❤

Awesome to hear that! Always happy to help and appreciate you tuning in!
why does it say SOLD on your website?
Because it has SOLD. Sold before I could even get the video up. The rare ones never last long.
@@natesclassiccars1 ahhhh. ty
Probably because it's sold already
The first thing you would want to do if you owned one of these, is to add headers, put on a bigger Carburetor, rework the ignition curve, and get rid of that restrictive emissions crap!
I owned a Calypso Coral '70 Mach I with the 351 Cleveland 4v engine with a close ratio top loader as a High Jr. in '73 as a Jr. I Bought it for a song at a local credit bureau as a repossession. It was a pretty fast car but after my Dad (a Rocket Engineer at Cape Canaveral) and I blue printed it and converted it to solid lifter and did the typical hot rod upgrades, it pulled 475 HP on the dyno and I had the fastest car in town.
Very cool!
Ford Royalty
Wow that's just over 22,500 miles
So how does that work the speedo is KM but they odom is miles. nice car
I said miles as I am used to that….but this Boss has 34,000 KM.
@@natesclassiccars1Real Americans don't go by km, how many American miles?????
@@WisdomOverWicked777Rules haha I’m with you. It is about 21,000 miles
@@natesclassiccars1 How Much??? Why don't you put the price on your videos. You will get more GENUINE interest that way
Thanks for your input, will try to do so in the coming videos.
I had never seen a 240 MPH speedo before.
It is KM. This car sold new in Canada.
Beautiful Boss 9 Such special cars
Thank you! I agree!
@@natesclassiccars1HOW MUCH????
The 429 SCJ is essentially a Boss 429 without the heads.
Ford had so many warranty claims for the body paint scoops in '69 with the big 429 Boss engine generating so much heat it melted the scoop paint making it crinkle that they went to high temperature black paint for the '70 cars.
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you!
So impressive. Beautiful classic Ford Mustangs. Love the little guy ....little gearhead !! Stunning collection. Thanks for sharing
That he is! Thank you and thanks for watching!
Where in the actual F uck does a 15 yo get that kind of money?
His dad bought them for him no way a 15 year old could swing 2.5 million for some cars lucky kid and amazing cars
Awesome find , lucky guy
Thank you! It was a good day!
Not sure where this is, but about 15 years ago I was invited into a Houston warehouse like this that had about 20 Shelby's in it.
It’s in Marianna, Florida about an hour from Panama City Beach
Very cool video, thanks Nate. Been following some of these Shelbys for a while and now I know where they are. A 15 year old kid got them...😢 😂🎉❤. take care. Larry Kravitz
like to see many signs on the walls etc
Coming soon!
beautiful collection, i would think a drag pack car with A/C has to be rare, what gears ?
Thank you! Very Very Rare indeed. 3.91 gears.
I had a 69 torino gt convertible with the drag pack option. 3.91 ram air car. One of 16 made in '69 and one of the 4 sold in Canada. Mine was the only one painted meadowlark yellow. It has every option except for a/c because a/c wasn't available in the ford drag pack cars. That must have been a Shelby only option. Rare stuff like this makes me sweat a bit... stunning collection you have there!
3.91
I only want to know where the finances come from. That’s all. NOT jealous. Not at all, I just need to know. I drove a 70 Boss 302 and a 72 351 Boss. My best friend was the wise young men to have bought both. He became a dentist in Illinois.
Thank you!
What a collection; thanks for the insights.
Thanks!
nice work men. where can i pick up a retro battery like im seeing in your cars? ty
Thank you! Antique Auto Battery or you can buy the toppers that cover batteries.
Really cool! I look forward to seeing his collection grow and evolve.
What does Anderson do to earn that kind of money? Must be one helluva job!!
Hard working young man!
Absolutely thrilled to see a young man bench racin’, regurgitating knowledge, (“saying the words”) that either states FACT for other young interested fans to learn from and spark another generation. I am critical when hearing incorrect SS 454 “facts” being stated as record and commend this young man for what’s surely coming his way, another fan approaching him with differing “facts”, hopefully both walking away smarter SO AS TO KEEP things straight. Of course any good father wants to feed his son or daughter with his knowledge, (ie: Alyssa Worman, Graveyard Cars). My personal cringe: Overhearing the next generation Musclecar fan or owner insisting “Cowl Grilles on the ‘70 Chevelle/Malibu were OEM” and “I own the only ‘70 SS with Rocker Mouldings”. *let’s prevent a Scofield LIKE Bible, (a sponsored/sanctioned rewrite) from being created-later blurring Truth in to Fiction, keeping “NOS LEFT & RIGHT MUFFLER BEARINGS” from becoming available all of the sudden. 🤫 Lol, is that not sacrilegious, blending GOD Truths in to the Musclecar arena. “Lord, i apologize…”. -Larry the Cableguy *** now type “Apologize” in to your iPhone. See what I mean ? (am I thee only one seeing the iPhone providing incorrectly spelled options for common words, especially suggesting “S’” instead of “Z’s” and yes, I have checked my English settings being sure they’re KORREKTLY set to Western PA., YinZer-ease 😉 or the lost preference of zion giving way to Scion, that ole generic Toyota spinoff OVER the Captain Obvious Okt-Ober ‘23 Phalse-Phlagg GlYder a-tak like the most fortified border known to man “wasn’t turned off for a bit” to help facilitate WWIII’s Gog & Magog, (the Book of Ezekiel) battle. #orangemustangismynewfav #evenusmusclecarfansknowpalestineiswasathingwithinnocentsamongbibishamascreation

I have a 2nd owner 67 GT 500 my dad bought after returning from Vietnam. Has the 428 / dual quad/ 4speed . Survivor car with 72k original miles
Very cool!
The Red '67 is a one-in-nine, as a former seller said, or a one-in-three, as the owner says?
Hard for anyone to remember the exact numbers with this many cars and he is learning every day. I believe it is one of six with those options and being a red I believe it is one of three or four. Again I believe that is correct but would have to look at the SRG report for the breakdown.
@@natesclassiccars1 Anyway, it's a one-of-WOW. Super cool collection, by all means.
What's the story on the kid owner?
Anderson loves Ford muscle and found a liking to Shelby and Boss cars. He started learning about the rarity and what made each of them special. After gaining the knowledge day by day, he went after finding some of the rarest around!
@@natesclassiccars1 Whoever is giving him car advice sure knows classics.
My question is who's giving him that kinda money
Fantastic Collection of Mustangs Guys! Some of the finest around! Thank you for sharing Nate and Anderson!💪💀🖤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏✌️🎉🇺🇸🎊

Original interior! That's the best for a 1968 Mustang!
Agree!
Just like this one man when he got into his 1966 yellow mustang when he started it up and then he farted and another guy saying I like it! But didn't have the softer bucket seats, the still had the original leather ones! He still had the original interior!@@natesclassiccars1

No doubt!
I remember back in high school, mid 80's,trying to get my father to help me get (buy)this exact car, same everything, that was for sale in the Carolina Trader for $2,500.00! I wasn't able to get it for lack of funds but years later he said he didn't want me to have anything that fast.Yeah,he was fine with the Trans Ams but the mustang no way!
I love the 1970’s; let’s go with two completely different greens for interior/exterior. You have to wonder who would want that avocado green interior on this car back in the day? That being said, it’s completely awesome!
Thanks! Agree weird to order this but sure made for a rare one!
