pls help !!! I'm using the same wifi adapter but it is giving a internet speed of 30-40 mbps while my laptop's integrated adapter is giving 80mbps and also the number of wifi access points shown through this external adapter are more or less similar to the number of wifi access points shown through my laptop's adapter however the strength of the signals is a bit higher through the external adapter
hi friend i try it on kali2024-2 and 2022-2 and i can change to monitor mod but i cant get any network when i use airodrup or wifite what is the problem ..... please help me

My TpLink T600U nano appears in the list when i type "lsusb" on Kali. But it does not work. I am new to Linux. I am using ethernet cable for inernet everytime and i want to use the WiFi adapter. I even called TpLink customer care and i was told there are no drivers for Linux. Can i follow the same procedure to install the drivers? Kindly reply.

It seems you have a Broadcom BCM4360 wireless card. Follow the below-mentioned steps: 1) Broadcom drivers are proprietary, so you need to include the "non-free" repository in your sources.list. echo "deb http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list 2) Update Repositories: sudo apt update 3) Install Broadcom Drivers: sudo apt install broadcom-sta-dkms 4) Unload Conflicting Modules: The broadcom-sta-dkms package will blacklist most of the generic Broadcom drivers, but to be sure, unload any conflicting modules. sudo modprobe -r b44 b43 b43legacy ssb brcmsmac bcma 5) Load the wl Module: sudo modprobe wl And by this point, your wireless should be up and working.

Sure. You can type the following commands to set the monitor mode manually. 1) Stop network manager: sudo systemctl stop NetworkManager 2) Put the wireless adapter into monitor mode: sudo ifconfig wlan0 down sudo iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor sudo ifconfig wlan0 up 3) sudo iwconfig wlan0 to check of its get into monitor mode. You will see something like, Mode:Monitor in the output. 4) sudo systemctl start NetworkManager And all done. Let me know if it works for you
@@p0is0n_9 Error for wireless request "set mode" (8B06) : SET failed on device wlan0 ; operation not supported. I also get experimental driver error sometimes. I guess it's just a proprietary thing.... I'll definitely look into things more when buying, especially chipsets and driver's. Thank you heaps for your help. It seems like Logstash is unable to connect to Elasticsearch on the provided URL (localhost:9200/). It maybe because Elasticsearch is not running or still loading up. You can check it by running a curl command like curl localhost:9200 and see if you get a response. Let me know if you still face any issue
