The Great Migration some call it THE GREAT SHOW ON EARTH. Dec-April Wildebeests move to Serengeti Tanzania bcoz of short rains nov-dec and stay for long rains from end of April or early May. Feb.is calving time around 0.5million calves are born. May-July The 800km long migration of 1.5milkion wildebeests & 0.5million other animals begins btn late April & early June August -September The crossing of Mara river from Tanzania to Kenya, 10th of thousands die during crossing. Good time to visit the area though. October- November Crossing again Mara river from Kenya back to Tanzania but in a circular clockwise direction. THEN THE GREAT SHOW STARTS AGAIN. I would dare say Tanzania is the best place to visit in Africa for natural attractions WELCOME TO TANZANIA
