Two days exploring southern Moreton Bay. Unfavourable conditions forced me to do some exploration to places I've never fished before. :)

Took boat out for water test after a huge refurbishment. My son and I spends a weekend camping and fishing with the Kayaking Cartel. Fishing was tough with snot weed everywherre but the weekend was fun and enjoyable:)

Sometimes knowing when to stop and switch targets might just be the key to a successful outing :) I did just that and am glad I did!

Did some recent upgrades to the boat including the Minn Kota Ulterra i-link and Hummingbird Mega 360. I took boat out with my son for the first test run to see how it goes!

Minh, my son and I fished the Jumpinpin system earlier in the day but were forced into the Logan River by the gnarly conditions. We persisted until we were chased off by looming dark clouds. Finished up with a good haul of flatties 🤟

A few mates and myself had our first solid crack at catching squid for the season. They are well and truly here :)

I bought a new boat to replace mine. Sole purpose of this trip was to test boat’s capabilities, get used to it and hopefully land a fish in the process!

Easter Monday fishing trip out to the beacons. Needless to say it was an awesome day!

Another invite from my Dad resulted in another trip venturing out to Moreton bay chasing mackerels :)
