Same as saying Paul is in chains for the gospel.... hyperbole people! Christ reigns now and is building his Kingdom. If we have Rev 7:17 after tribulation and Rev 21:4 in the new Jerusalem, we also have this in Isaiah 25:8 along with death being swallowed up FOREVER! Can't be 1000 years apart. It all happens after Christ's return! Eschaton baby

●Here is the pesher of Rev. 13: 16 - 18. (16)-- At the same season when it became known that Agrippa was appointed king, Simon in Caesarea established the anti-Agrppa party, first taking the headship of the Gentiles of Joppa and its property from Agrippa. Then he gained Caesarea Phillipi through Phillip. He gained Nicolaus-Blastus. He gained Theudas. John Mark, the Herodian freedman, supported him. Herod of Chalcis gained headship of the Vineyard mission, & rewarded John Mark for his part in betraying Agrippa, by permitting him to serve the sacred bread, and John Mark wore a headband like a phylactery as the eastern party did. (17)-- At the schism of 44AD Simon became Pontifex Maximus of the Damascus party in place of Agrippa, & he bought promotions by payment of money and gave initiations in return for money, and so also did Herod of Chalcis, who was treated as head of schools by Simon and as the Herod successor. (18)-- At this time, the seer spoke for the congregation: "I am going to Ephesus as a teacher. Jonathan Annas is supporting Herod of Chalcis as the successor. Herod of Chalcis is appointed by Simon over celibate congregations. He uses the system of promotions through the letters SAMEKH, RESH and TAW". ///'BEAST'-- A man acting for the Lion, one who had zealot views on the purpose of military actio. Tne zealot leader from the order of Manassah. There were 6 people with this title. 1) Judas the Galilean in 6AD. 2) Judas Sicariotes from 26 AD (Rev. 13: 1). 3) Simon Magus from 36 AD (Rev. 13: 11). 4) Herodian Atomus the Magus from 44 AD (Rev. 14: 9; 16: 13; 17: 3). 5) Atomus' successor in 61AD (Rev..15:2; 16: 10; 19: 19). 6) Another successor in 100 AD (Rev. 20: 4). The 'Beast' was the 3d in the Pharisee-zealot hierarchy of the 'Dragon' ( Priest), 'Calf' (Prophet) & 'Beast' (King). 'FALSE PROPHET'-- A rival claimant to the Herodian succession. In Rev. 14: 5 [& also in Rev. 13:12], it was Herod of Chalcis, the brother of Agrippa I who was supported by Simon Magus & the Damascus party. After his death, a member of the line of Tigranes attached to the Damascus party. ///●Here is the pesher of Rev. 13: 12, 13. 14, 15. [This is on Friday, March 16, 36 AD]. (12)-- Simon Magus gave initiations in the position of bishop, & he initiated Herod of Chalcis. Simon claimed to be head of the congregation, holding its property. Herod of Chalcis was instructed as the Herod successor, & advised to divert the Roman tribute to Simon. At the accession of Jonathan Annas in March 37AD, Simon was excluded for a season, but restored at Pentecost. (13)-- At this season, Herod of Chalcis established a separate mission in Damascus, giving promotions to proselytes. He brought Theudas from Qumran to the Damascus congregation, & linked it with Masada. (14)-- Simon taught Herod of Chalcis that he was the Herod successor, accepting him as a head of schools who could give promotions on Simon's advice. Simon advised Herod of Chalcis to appoint the Samaritan Ananias as High Priest. At the June solstice in 37 AD, Herod of Chalcis was excluded for a season by Jonathan. But he was accepted in Damascus as the Herod. (15)-- Herod of Chalcis appoint Ananias the Samaritan to be future high priest and leader of the congregation. Ananias was made a member of the counlcil. When in September 37 AD Jonathan Annas refused to divert the Roman tribute to Ananias. Simon brought about his deposition from the high priesthood. ///● Here is the pesher of Rev. 19: 20. [This is on Tuesday, June 21, 74 AD, 38 years later than the events in Rev. 13]. (20)-- The Herodian Magus was put under community arrest for the failure of the uprising. Beside him was the rival Herod from Damascus, & his deputy, who acted as his levite giving promotions. The rival Herod gave false teaching about the Herodian succession to proselytes of the Magus. His deputy paid the Roman tribute money to Gaius, now head of Samaritans, & he, a Herod retaining membership, was sent back to be in charge at Qumran, where the priest's lamp symbolized zealotry, and where monstics were accused of sodomy. ///■Here is the correct meaning of 666. The number 666 is the clue to those who knew the Hebrew alphabet & the way it was used in the gnostic monastic system out of which the zealot movement arose. The letters of the Hebrew alphabet were used also for numbers. The last letter TAW ('t') was used for 400, the 2d last SHIN ('s') for 300, the 3d last RESH ('r') for 200. The number 600 was made up of 400 and 200,, TAW and RESH. The number 60 was further down the alphabet, at WAW ('v'). This letter WAW was used with an initial or group of initials. So the letters representing 666 were TAW, RESH and SAMEKH (TRS 660)with the extra WAW to show that initials were being used. In the Jewish monastic system letters were used for the grades attained each year, as in a school system. The very highest grade was TAW, the last letter of the alphabet being used to show that promotions could go no higher. It was normally reached at the age of 30 after 10 years of study. The year before, SHIN was reached, and before that RESH. Of the 10 years of study, from ages 20 to 23 were used to prepare for initiation. It was only at 23 that SAMEKH, the grade of initiation was reached. TAW, RESH and SAMEKH represented the 3 main steps in the career of a student in a monastery. So, when the eastern monastic system, with its oppressive discipline and covert military purpose, was rejected by the Christians, they spoke of it contemptuously as 'the 666'.

666 originated with Solomon. three sixes. One six, each for the three individuals, aka Satan, the beast and his false prophet. What reason? The mark is a last resort. The beast fails, and wants the world to take his last gasp, his mark. The mark will protect you from a virus, instead, it will give you boils. You won't go directly to hell, if you take his mark. But, you will succumb to painful, blisters and sores.

Dispensationalism is not a shallow hermeneutic, you're understanding is what is shallow. Dispensational teaching includes the typology you mentioned (the only time in three years I heard a Calvanist preachrr make reference to typology he called it "fanciful). The chapters of "Principles of Biblical Hermeneutics " by J.Edwin Hartill, D.D. which is a dispensational study book are: 1 The Bible and the Bible Student 2 The Dispensational Principle 3 The Covenantal Principle 4 The Ethnic Division Principle 5 The Discrimination Principle 6 The Predictive Principle 7 The Application Principle 8 The Typical Principle 9 The Principle of Human Willingness in Illumination 10 The First Mention Principle (very important) 11 The Progressive Mention Principle 12 The Full Mention Principle 13 Tha Context Principle 14 The Agreement Principle 15 The Direct Statement Principle 16 The Gap Principle 17 The Three-Fold Principle 18 The Election Principle 19 The Repetition Principle 20 The Synthetic Principle 21 The Principle of Illustrative Mention 22 The Double Reference Principle 23 The Christo- Centric Principle 24 The Numerical Principle I don't know what any of the other disciplines teach but I never hear anything from them on these principles. The two things they teach are salvation through Christ( which is essential and wonderful) and how shallow and ignorant anyone is who holds to a dispensational hermeneutic.

I have a saying that I go by "I'm the asshole with the shovel". This comes from the idea that I shovel shit on people, and they hate it. Therefore I'm an asshole. But this shit isn't just shit, it's manure. It's the truth. And unfortunately this is how it's seen, being honest with people, that you're pouring shit on them. It hurts me because it comes from everywhere; friends, family, wife, strangers, even myself at this point. I can't be honest or expect honesty from anyone. I wish people were different, I wish I could just disappear. I've devolved into this along with them, it's making me mad.

I mean it does say in revelation that Satan will eventually be thrown in the lake of fire, so your argument that it undermines the eternality of the gospel falls flat. I’m post mil not a mil because by making the millennium everything they make it nothing, it clearly signifies a golden age which we clearly haven’t entered yet because we have more work to do- namely repenting of the trinitarianism, institutional sabbath breaking, and divine name changing.

2 Thessalonians 2 speaks about the manifestation of the AntiChrist, that’s Satan final move on earth, “he must be released for awhile” Rev 20:3 and it’s also part of God’s judgement over the world . Satan through the Anti Christ will deceive the world again. “The lawless will be revealed” 2 Tess. 2:8. He will operate under Satan’s power, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” ‭‭II Thessalonians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭ No contradiction! Also, could you please demonstrate for us that a belief in a 1000 year temporal earthly reign is one shared by Jesus, the Apostles, and the NT writers? It's odd that there's only 1 mention in all of scripture of this 1000 year reign, and yet many interpreters see this as a huge chunk of what God's plans for the future entails~! Is it possible to read the NT without a lens that expects the reign of Christ on earth to be limited to 1000 years, interrupted by Satan's activities, yet another defeat of Satan is carried out and everything is put right in the New Heavens and Earth? I believe what you'll find is a scenario explained where the next event we're expecting is... The New Heavens, the New Earth, and the New Jerusalem that comes down out of Heaven.

I find your clinging to the notion of Satan's being released after the thousand years to prove that an "undoing" of the work of the Cross has happened [Assuming the Amil position] to be more than just a bit of buffoonery on your part. Sorry, but I have to be honest here. Either God is Lord of all or he's not Lord at all. He can bind Satan to the degree that he sees fit, and roll back some of the effects of that binding according to his good pleasure. There's no "reversal" that needs to take place in his Son's work on the cross in order for this to happen. God is who allowed Satan to run free in the 1st place. Here's what you **should** be asking: Did Jesus in any sense of the term, "Bind" Satan as a result of the totality of his ministry here on Earth? The answer is emphatically yes: "A Biblical Case for Amillennialism" Two Pathways | Jacob Gerber 01/25/2022 - Seems like as good as any a place to start.

0:30 "An unspecified amount of time." Yes. The Gk. is χίλιοι "chilioi" [khil'-ee-oy] defined in Strong's as a "Plural of uncertain affinity." Amillennialism is taught right in the literal text of Scripture itself. 1:30 But OTOH in not admitting that we through the eyes of faith see Satan as bound requires watering down of Colossians 2:15. What this video never mentions is that contextually, the events that take place in Rev 20:4 are actually in Heaven. How do we know this? The presence of Thrones in keeping with how that is used elsewhere in Revelation. Nothing in this verse even implies an Earthly Kingdom is being set up. Find it for me, please. You can't. You won't. Therefore, through the eyes of faith, from a heavenward perspective, we see Satan as utterly Bound. 2:45 "What does it mean that Satan is released? Hmmmm, Idk. Seems to me that the totality of the Bible leads us to the conclusion that Satan can't do anything... Unless God allows it. Obviously not everyone enjoys the full benefits of the Cross, or we'd all be saved. This is presenting a false dilemma. A BIGGER problem than God choosing to allow Satan to have some extra "recess time" is the fact that in order to make the Millennium work, Gloried Saints would have to be rebelling against the ways of God and are being deceived by Satan. So actually, you didn't fix the problem at all. Also, many translations actually state "They lived & reigned with Christ 1000 [chilioi] years" as opposed to "They came to life and reigned with Christ. This consistent with the Gk "Zao" which simply means "To Live." Check the WEB, KJV, NKJV, Douay-Rheims, Geneva - and your "Literal" translations, ones that have the word "Literal" in the title like Young's Literal Translation. This totally makes sense, because the Resurrection of the Dead doesn't take place until Verse 5."

If 1,000 years is literal, then people will know exactly up to the last day and seconds when will the 1,000 years reign will end. If 1,000 years is literal, the people will know for sure when will the events after the reign being mentioned in the Bible will happen. So the events as far as timeline will start to get predictable because of the literal 1,000 years which literally is 365,000 days.

This is a straw man of all-mill perspective. There is no split between chapter nineteen and twenty. What there is is a recapitulation of the same events. That is a retelling. This is using, as you say, context to interpret the scripture. The contextual tool, all mills used in this case is how the original readers of apocalyptic writings would have interpreted those writings. A popular apopalyptic writing style of the time is in using recapitulation to tell a story.

Ahhh yes, silly me, chapter 20 is a recapitulation of chapter 19, even though there is nothing within the context to suggest that the chapters are synonymous and numerous examples of chronology.

The proper 'context' is that these passages were directed at those he was specifically speaking to, not you or I. The Jesus I know fulfills and completes, he doesn't promote open speculation regarding future events. Either that or the second coming is near, for the last 2000 years. No one reading this has the conviction to follow Matthew 21 and selling their belongings to follow Jesus. Why? Maybe not so certain?

I haven't but I also haven't seen any reason to do this either. Particularly because the way numbers work in the original languages wouldn't really support this idea. But it's an interesting thought nevertheless.

You couldn’t be more wrong‼️ God bound Satan during the church age, and released him for “the hour of temptation” which is another name for the Great Tribulation. It is a time of great spiritual suffering from great sin, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now.

Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order ) Christ returns one time in the future. However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation. Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet? He comes on a horse in chapter 19, right after the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Chapter 20? Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1? (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time? Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner. Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book. The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return...

In Rev. 1:20 Jesus said the word "candlesticks" is a symbol of the "churches" in the Book of Revelation. In Romans chapter 11 Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of both Jews and Gentiles grafted into the same olive tree. Is the verse below talking about two men made of wood and metal, or is it talking about what Jesus and Paul said? Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Hey tentmaker, it's important to remember that the passage you are quoting is within a specific context. That word from Jesus was given even before the cross, so it simply cannot apply to that immediate time under any eschatological model if we wish to insinuate that this passage refers to the casting of Satan into the Abyss. Simply put, all eschatological models recognize that what Christ says here cannot refer to Satan's immediate or past defeat as most eschatological models understand it. Instead, there are two possible interpretations for this passage. First, Jesus is using this phrase in an allegorical sense to affirm that the fact that the demons were being cast out, and that the kingdom of Satan was taking some hits as it were. The second is that this is related to a future fulfilment in some regard in so far that Christ is speaking about the eventual defeat of Satan and the eventual triumph of the kingdom of God. Personally, I view the first option as the best explanation because of the immediate context. Jesus is speaking about the fact that the disciples have been given power to cast out demons, and so this was a huge blow to the kingdom of darkness. Bear in mind that too you have only quoted one aspect of what Jesus actually says, you have split His words in half. He continues after your quotation and that latter half explains what Jesus means by "I saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven." Look below at the quotation marks, Jesus continues and says "Behold." In other words, Jesus is now clarifying what he means in His initial statement. He hasn't finished talking and He explains what He means. 18So He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you. 20Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” The submission of the spirits to the disciples is what Jesus means by seeing Satan fall like lightning. This is not a reference to Satan being cast into the Abyss, or His defeat in this regard. Only that that the disciple's power to fight back against these evil spirits, to have power over all of them, meant that Satan's kingdom had taken a huge right hook. That's what Jesus means by "I saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven." Also, bear in mind that in Revelation 12 Satan is hurled down to the Earth, not the Abyss. These are two distinct locations, and we should not confuse them.

New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many Christians cannot honestly answer the first three questions below? Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. Watch the TH-cam videos “The New Covenant” by David Wilkerson, or Bob George, and David H.J. Gay. ===== Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ? (Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30) The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations? 1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Paul’s interpretation in Galatians 3:8, 3:16.) 2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ? 3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds? 4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh? 5. Who is replacing the word “remnant” in Romans 9:27, with the word “nation”? 6. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers? 7. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"? 8. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost? 9. Based on Hebrews 12:18-24, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.) 10. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? 11. Watch the TH-cam video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church. Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology. Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church: “The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.” Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107. Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.” Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323. John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated… "...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.” John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are there two peoples of God in John 10:16? (See also 1 John 2:22-23, 2 John 1:7-11.) What is the land promise to the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16? (See what Joshua said about the Old Covenant land promise in Josh. 21:43.) Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth? Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups? Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and is it fulfilled by the blood of Christ at Calvary in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 12:18-24? Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church, if the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20? (See also 2 Thess. 1:7-10) If the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant “obsolete” in Hebrews 8:6-13, why would God go back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period? Read the recent book "The Rise and Fall of Dispensationalism", by Daniel G. Hummel.
