I do think that mordecai is ín mordecai is worse because át least rigby never truly leaves his (aside from a few ocasions ) and I feel like rigby is more like a retarded kid so when mordekai does shitty things to rigby it feels worse because you expect better from him amd also mordecai kepps getting worse and rigby képes getting better as the show goes on

The whole debates about rigby and mordecai as characters really highlights interesting perspectives on two character archetypes. This being the character who starts out bad but slowly becomes better and the character that starts out hood but slowly becomes worse over time. Mordecai and rigby are both pretty shitty people but each in their own way.

Honestly speaking Rigby's still my favorite character. Despite all his flaws. The show wouldn't even exist without most Rigby Shenanigans. At least with Rigby we know he's awfully flawed from the get go.

It's really funny as a kid rigby & mordecai was my favorite characters and I wished these two were my friends in real-life so we can do some crazy awesome shenanigans, but now older and little wiser I would never be anywhere near these two of how petty, annoying🤦‍♂️and idiotic they are, that's why Benson is my favorite character💫he has his moments where he can be a cool guy to hang out with but that is overshadowed of him being frustrated at those to slackers, as a boy I hated him for that, but now as a man I respect him🙏in my opinion he should have fired them along time ago, no ifs or buts🖖

Ive watched this show front to back 3 times, and truly every time I enjoy rigby's presence twenty times more than Moredcai's. Ffs rigby is a character that can grow and be flawed and funny. Whereas mordecai can use the stupidity he knows rigby has go be a slimy loser. Being innatentive, lazy and dumb to any extent just never matches Mordecai"s creepy frat boy behavior and manipulative excusal of all blame from everything. If comes down to whoch one says more lines I enjoy im the show I don't know how people can endure and defend mordecai the more they watch this show.

Rigby is still my favorite character. Yes, he makes stupid mistakes, but…. 1. He singlehandedly saves everyone in MYM after fucking up 2. Putting gunpowder in chili peppers is illegal, so Rigby not listening helped expose their scheme and make sure they don’t get shipped to the public. 3. He helped the Park Strikers win in SS. And, of course, he develops into a great character and a better friend over the course of the show.

Agreed 100% with everything but Mordecai k@lling rigby IS in Context not that bad, rigby pushed first then mordecai almost fell and after that pushed back, most people always forget that rigby pushed First and Mordecai almost fell and Mordechai imediatly took responsiblity after k@lling him. You ever find it interesting how every single video talking about Mordecai has to include caveats about Rigby, and nearly every comment is something along the lines of "yeah, but Rigby was worse"? This is especially interesting given the fact that I've seen many people talk about enigmatic "Rigby fans" that defend him vehemently... for some reason. I've never seen these "fans" myself. Feels like the community is deluding itself into avoiding any and all criticism of Mordecai.

Mordecai may not be a perfect person or a character but he still is a great character. Like him being a simp and not ending up with neither Margaret or CJ shows that doesn't mean Mordecai won't find love. He lived a great life. He is in fact more responsible then Rigby. He tries to be a good worker but Rigby dragged it out of him

Just to clarify something: Me hating Mordecai isn't me loving Rigby. As I said in the video, I already don't have a high opinion on Rigby so all of his screw ups don't bother me as much. I approach every episode with the lens of "How will Rigby f*ck up this time?" rather than "Holy hell, I can't believe he did that!!" I am well aware of the whole Rigby pushing him first, I'm not defending Rigby in that situation either. TLDR: they both suck, but this video is about Mordecai's fault. Will consider doing a video about Rigby if need be.
