RFZ 250 Thunder Quick Street Ride
มุมมอง 9Kปีที่แล้ว
Just took a little spin to show some throttle response and speed, nothing too in depth until I can get on some dirt. Seems to be running awesome right now with the 38 pilot, and 140 main on the pe28 carb. Also just thought I'd mention I do have a noco group 5 lithium battery in it now and that was a sick upgrade it cranks way better now. I also have an extra baffle in the exhaust pipe to keep t...
RFZ250 Carb Update*
มุมมอง 1.5Kปีที่แล้ว
Wierd thing that happened with the new nibbi carb, any thoughts leave them below! lowered the main jet from 130 to 125 due to warmer weather. might end up changing the pilot from a 45 to a 42 if problem persists. thanks for watching guys.
Apollo RFZ Thunder 250
มุมมอง 10Kปีที่แล้ว
Hey one thing I forgot to mention in the video, I replaced the oil that it came with from the factory with some mobil1 4T wet clutch oil. Also, I was referring to the pilot jet being a 40, and I'm running a 130 main right now. The valves were very tight from the factory, there was no clearance at all, which is why it was getting so hot. I ordered this bike from txpowersports.com if anyone was i...
Warrior 10" table saw
มุมมอง 29K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Quick overview and a couple cuts on the Warrior 10" table saw from harbor freight. not a bad little saw, if you have any ideas for projects or capabilities of this saw, comment below and I'll see what I can do to emulate those ideas! thanks

Overview starts and 3:12 sorry for talking so much lol. Seems like a great compressor and if you're looking for something quiet, light and for lightish-duty work. Got it for 129$ black Friday sale at Harbor Freight. Enjoy!! I plan on making more extensive tool reviews I'm just working on getting a good workspace and a good amount of budget tools together to review long term for the average home...
Titanium flux 125 DC welder quick look
มุมมอง 5393 ปีที่แล้ว
Whether you're welding trailers, or just doing quick steel repairs and light fab work this thing is great. I know the weld shots aren't super bright but they looked great. I should also mention this is the wire that came with the welder, I'm pleased with the machine and I'm sure it will be perfect for anyone looking for a solid, smooth running cheap machine. Sometime soon I'm looking to weld a ...

Shouldn't your idle be at like 1300 or something with a tach
@@SoLoCruizer yeah somewhere around there. I just eyeballed it when I had the bike. I got it running great, but I did end up selling it.
How tall are you?
@@DwayneWilson612 6' 1"
Dewalt 8 1/4"table saw can go for $300 on sale. Skil 10" table saw can go for $300-$350. I highly recommend either one. The Dewalt 10" goes for over $600. If you want cheap, then there's Craftsman, Ryobi, Kobalt and others.
@@kentaroo.7759 I still have this saw, and it still works as it should. With that being said, I agree with you. There are better options than this one. Thanks for watching
Ever been around an older guy who has permanently lost most of his hearing? It’s pretty common, it’s sad and it’s caused by stuff what you see here.
Anthony good video. Your advice really applies to even more expensive saws- they all should be checked when changing settings unless you were spending thousands. Your demonstrations and advice are very helpful. I have this saw and it’s really powerful currently running a dewalt 10 inch. QUESTION: Can you us a DADO blades for spline cuts??? And yes it’s load save your ears. You’ll be glad you did when you’re 75.
I Got Me A Ryobi 10 Inch Cordless Sliding Miter Saw & It's A Goodone For $331.99 With $23.00Taxas It Cam Out To Be $356.00Wich Isn't A Bad Price. I Make Things Like Drinking Coasters & Repairing Furniture.
I have one real similar does what I need. The only thing that you have to make sure is lining up the fence. It’s not very accurate so you gotta use use the ruler that was about it cut fine. You have a good pick it up. I built the stand or but we’re doing, small jobs nothing commercial in my garage $70 came up late so I’m happy with it like I said just setting it up setting up only problem
I just got one in the box how hard is it to assemble
It's not too bad the hardest part for me was the linkage on the rear under the shock, helps if you have a motorcycle jack
That’s for replying I gave you a sub appreciate the videos and replays gunna get mine up next week
And nice I do have a motorcycle jack
@@Beamen075 that's awesome man, I loved the bike while I had it, I ended up selling it but not because it was bad, I just didn't have the time with two little ones and I didn't really have a property to utilize it as well as I could have. But it rips for the price no doubt.
Do you get a bog going 0 to full throttle fast? I have a Nibbi 30 and it does that for me and I am on a 120 main. Thinking about swapping to the 28mm.
I have been chasing this issue on mine. Please let me know if you find a fix
@@scottsundberg226 no mechanical fix, what I do now is just roll the throttle on instead of blasting 100% throttle from idle. Other than that, I have no other issues, my stock chain stretched out enough to need adjustment in 3 hours though.
@flat_stickproductions209 I have been messing with the jets, I have a nibbi 28mm and a 30mm carb. No matter the jet size it's still doing it. I guess I've been spoiled with my yamaha and Hondas. I just can't stand it. I've reached out to my dealer about it. As of now I am still at square 1. Will let you know if I figure something out.
@@scottsundberg226 I have the Nibbi coil but have not installed it yet.
Well I know the motor is based off a crf230f and that the Rfz thunder 250 isn’t a true 250 maybe the carb size that came from factory is to big I am going to get me a oem equivalent carb off a 2015 crf230f and see if it runs better
My sons Nibbi carb does the same thing with a WOT from idle. Maybe its a Nibbi thing because his is a 125cc.
I have a Nibbi on my RFZ125 and its bonkers. WOT doesnt hold back. Starts every time usually first kick. Idles like a scritched kitten. Its a fine tune thing...
You answered all my questions. Thank you 👍
Should have got the 30
You probably have the choke on that will make the Bike stall
Hello, recently got an Apollo Thunder 250 but am missing a front wheel spacer. The spacer I did receive measures 15ID 25OD 26 long. But these dimensions don’t match up with the manual. Can someone help me source the spacers? Or, know the dimensions of the ones they received so I can source or machine one?
Anyone happen to know the difference between the RFZ thunder and the RFN thunder ?
It's the same thing, I think the rfn thunders are branded for sales in Europe and the rfz is for the US. I heard a guy from the US ordered a rfn and received the rfz branding. I'm almost positive they're the same bike but don't quote me on that
Any other tips bro
Whats the power like compared to the real brand 250 bikes? Can i hammer down like i could my crf250f ?
It's not going to have the power of 250f. Not even close, but there's also about a 5-6k difference in price. This bike rips for what it is, but your talking 17-20hp compared to like 34+hp on a 250f. Hope this helps!
@anthonyyoung4978 I'm interested in the bike and I'm just wondering if it's gon a do what I want... I'm not racing but I like to ride hard.. hit some jumps ride some wheelies ... we do a lot of riding around Here where I live and my sons is tired of having me watch him ride since I sold my last bike and I'm just trying to save money if I can with a bike that'll still do what I want it to
@@vincentwelshman8435 it's definitely a capable bike, you could hit some jumps and definitely pull the front end up on it. Just takes some tuning and getting it dialed in.
What oil can I use on this? Also I’m getting the nibbi PWK 28mm carb when I order this with it if that fits.
Mobil 1 racing 4T 10w-40 and that will be interesting I never tried that carb, I just went with a barrel style pe 28 carb you might need an adapter for the pwk but it might work fine.
Aight thanks alot bro ill be ready for this thing@@anthonyyoung4978
How do I cold start this?
Just get a better battery, pull the choke lever and crank it mine always started doing that. But I also did the valves and carb tuning. That helped a lot and I will put the link for the battery in the description
@@anthonyyoung4978 ok thanks😊
I need your help I bought this bike came with PE30 STOCK CARB not adjustable motor won't idle down right and have failure in throttle response I ordered the nibbi PE30 what jets should I use I live in Florida
I sold the bike a while ago, but you're about 400 ft below me in sea level, so I would say probably a 120 main and a 40 pilot, but you'll probably have to tune from there. Every bike is a little different. I would definitely check those valves too mine were super tight when I got the bike. Just ran it through a couple heat cycles to break it in a bit then adjusted them.
Just bought this, broken in the box; Harbor Freight won't take it back. It's junk, they are trash. Save up for something decent.
That doesn't make sense. They always take stuff back within 90 days. Is it because you don't have your receipt? They have pulled that on me before.
@@dangrimes5078 They entered my phone number wrong, and unlike every other modern business, they cannot or will not look up an order based on the credit card number... Just unprofessional.
The stock battery is DTX5L-BS. But I can’t find replacement. do you know if a YTX5L-BS will work?much thanks.
Hey man im about to purchase this bike. Would you recommend any aftermarket parts for it? Hows the carb? Is it still holding up fine? Im 5'10 weight 165 do you think its a good fit for me? Thanks bro and sick riding
I sold the bike actually. I moved and had another baby so I just didn't have the time to load it in the truck and take it to the woods. I have another couple videos about the carb and valves and stuff. It's a really cool bike I wish I would have kept it honestly. I might get another one in the future. Nibbi carb and jet kit, and I put an after market air filter in it. Lock tight all the bolts once you get it running good. All the typical Chinese bike mods ect. It's definitely fun especially for the price! And yes I think it would fit you just fine. You can just set the sag a little lower if it's too tall but it's adjustable
@anthonyyoung4978 damn that sucks you had to sell it. I know how it is. Got a 11 month old right now. Getting him a power wheel with remote control for his birthday haha. Gotta start em young. I'm going to get the nibbi 28mm carb with the gaskets and filter the all in one kit. The black one. And yeah I'm ordering loctite and all that haha 😄 I hope the nibbi air filter fits. How was the battery for you? Thinking about getting a lithium one but don't know the size
@anthonyyoung4978 after watching your other videos I'm ordering the same air filter you used. Thanks so much for these videos about this bike. Your basically the only one that has them.
@@502austin8 yeah I did end up putting a lithium battery in it was a must the batteries that they come with are pretty useless. And yeah I just did the nibbi 28, and I did a pro filter. I think the air filter was for a crf250. I thought I linked them in the description but I'm not sure. And that's awesome man congrats on your son. I agree gotta start them young. I put a 20v drill battery in my 4 year olds electric quad a while back and it ripped 🤣 but yeah man no worries. I wanted to make more videos about it I loved wrenching on that thing and getting it tuned. They're definitely bikes you have to work on but I think for less than 2 grand for a new bike, it's a deal
@anthonyyoung4978 was the 28mm nibbi a direct replacement and did you notice a difference from stock carb? I've got the nibbi and the filter you used, and the lithium battery you used in my cart just want to make sure it's direct replacement on the carb. Some other guy said he would have to cutt some stuff and it's a pain in the ass.
Hey dude I bought a similar bike, it’s a Kayo t2 230 and I have that same carb. Just bought jet kit and I will be following what you did.
I bout a NIBBI for my 250 FRZ and there is not adapter to make it fit. If anyone knows of one please let me know.
If I don't plan on riding in the next 2 weeks I turn off the fuel and drain the carb bowl unless I'm running can fuel or ethanol free.
Might order this today
Did u ever do it?
@@mrnoobman7061 yea I'm changing the oil right now lol
haha is it good?@@infamoussgarage
Im getting mine this june@@infamoussgarage
Picking mine up now from a local store in crate.
I might sound dumb but just got the bike today and am wondering how to use the choke lever (on handle bar)
any chance you could post some pictures of how you installed that nibbi carb? Did you use stock airbox? I have some adapters but not sure how to get it all in there
Hey man I'm ordering this bike within a few days and planning on getting the nibbi 28mm carb. The black one with thr black filter. Do you think it will fit? Or is the stock carb fine if I just drain it like showed.
Honestly I would not try to put a nibbi on it, it can be done but it is a shithole mess nightmare of modifications. The stock carb runs fine for what it is, I would just rebuild it when it eventually craps out. I regret trying to install my nibbi on there, hell I would rather buy a new klx 230 vs do this shit again lol@@502austin8
@jg1093 damn it's that bad huh. Click on this guy's channel and watch that 18 minutes video he has on this. He's useing the nibbi with a stonge air filter for a crf 250 in the stock airbox. Isn't the carb just a direct replacement? I've ordered the bike and the nibbi carb.
I have the older apollo 250 so the frame might be different. The nibbi is NOT a direct fit for the older model, you have to cut the stock intake manifold and buy a ram truck radiator hose to make it work unless you cut/grind the frame all to hell. Lol @@502austin8
@jg1093 the one I ordered was the RFZ thunder, same one as in this video. That sucks you ran into that issue man, sounds like a fkin bitch lol
I saw enough issues with this video to say “no way baby”. This is one of those buys that you and the bike will spend more time in the garage than you will on the dirt. I’d drop a couple of grand more and by a Honda from a local dealer.
Yeah I ended up selling the bike lol
I just bought one of these to cut milled pieces of tree and came here trying to figure out what that thing that was attached to the fence is for
Thanks for the video. I've had bad experiences with the miter saw Warrior, but will vive a try to the Table saw
I have one of these but it’s so hard to find videos like this where you actually give a breakdown on the bike. Because mine won’t start & the dirt bike mechanics by me want a arm & leg.
Adjust the valves
Still waiting on that speed test video 😉
anyone find any aftermarket plastics for this yet ?
geez why? Theyre great looking. unless you mean bc yours broke
I might be getting one of these. Does it feel like it has enough torque? I would probably just throw on a 28mm Mikuni and call it a day. Im at sea level so should not need to rejet. Im also looking at the RXF 200 19/16 which I know would be an absolute blast to rip around but if i ever want to take it on any serious trails i think id miss out on the full size wheels.
How much speed would the Mikuni add
@@thehoodticket maybe 5mph but itll run much better stronger throttle response
@@dirtycommtroop Thanks for responding I appriciate it
did you had some problem with the bike ?
Is this bike considered a dirt bike or a pit bike?
This is one is a dirt bike
How is this bike holding up? Would it be good for dune riding and long day trail riding?
Thank you for your brief video. I just bought one. Literally 20 minutes ago. And this is my first one. Never used one before. First table saw ever. I'm a bit intimidad lol. I think (and hope) it will do what I want it to do. Cut in a straight line lol. I think i got what I paid for. So far i put it together and cut one 2x4 and so far, I'm satisfied. Thabks again sir.
Its a good solid saw for sure. It should do about anything you need. Ive used all the brands remodeling houses for a living for a few years and they all do the same thing really. I just bought one the other day for my garage. Its a good saw
Thank you for the review. This will work for me. Enjoyed the presentation.
Did you change oil already? And what oil and filter you buy ?😊
Yo, what's up man, I'm planning on ordering this bike. I've got some questions about it, though, since I'm only looking to ride a bit on the roads/trails. Nothing serious like jumping and so, will this bike be good enough? I've also read some of your comments that it's struggling a lot, is this true? Then that's going to be a bit of a problem since I'm no mechanic expert, but is it simple to fix once i get used to it? Speaking of the battery that was struggling, is it hard to replace that? If I'm no expert, what can I possibly do? Also, am I required to adjust everything like you did, screwing with parts and changing air filter etc. Would appreciate some answers!
you have it yet?
can you please make more videos of this bike❤
looks like its still chilly out side up in ohio. im from michigan but have lived down in florida the last 20+ years
you made the statement at the beginning that your probably starting these vids to ask questions but you know way more then i do. and i literally just bought the exact same bike. also my first bike. i didnt have to put mine togather the dealership i bought it from did all of that. but im subbing to your channel and will be returning for more info thanks again
