You’re distributor plugged into ported vacuum and idle is too high so it pulls the distributor then lets go then pulls again
Is the butterfly valve adjusted correctly by the transfers ports inside the carb? If theres to much of the transfer exposed, it will activate the high side on the carb, and can make tunning a pain. This is if its got a carb. Tuning takes time to learn everyone kinda has there own way, my suggestionis to check the transfer ports in the carb make sure they are not over exposed, if they are re adjust them after that youll have to re tune the carb for sure. Whats your initial timing at?
Grey is your illumination wire. When you roll your dimmer on the headlight dimmer switch It should brighten/dim the radio lights, dash instrumentation lights and ac control lights

My distributor doesn’t have vacuum advance it has this 3 prong connection no vaccum advance why is that?

Pcv valve... You understand the v in pcv stands for valve.. pressure control valve valve is what you're saying.
OK I did my 350 at half turn (has an RV cam) maybe I did it too tight
61° that chocknshould be closed!
Grab a fuel pressure regulator
Then gauges will lie to you especially in a hot engine bay

@@grstew4 it's the sensor. I've been trying to get in contact with Intellitronix to send me a replacement. Temperature sensor too.
Also I used the DigiHUD App for a speedometer.

Sbc needs thread sealant on the intake bolts. Also cast aluminum valve cover with the thick blue gaskets ftw

Install an inline adjustable regulator. You then adjust by a simple turn of a screw.

i’m wondering if my front clutches are burnt still fairly new to working on transmissions and my car currently only has reverse. the trans fluid was low and smells burnt af
Mine wasn't that high but my Edelbrock would flood at red lights.

Hey i have the same carburetor on my nova im running a 400 turbo, do you need a kickdown or is it just a vacuum line? If its a line where should i route it on the carburetor? Im using the vacuum port in the back for my pcv

That clip preloads the disc. Push the angled part inward with a flat screwdriver and it will release the tension on the disc and you can pull it out
Even if it does come out, that case is trashed

Front pump bushing is gone, will need the pump rebuilt. The front bushing is walking out of the pump and causeing it to leak. Would absolutely recommend having it taken apart to make sure none of the metal was sent through the clutch packa

didn't think the 305 had the 8" balancer, could be wrong but i would look into it.
