    Welldone sir.What could happened if the metre rule doesn't balance on the knife edge.Not this is not the first time of doing it but this particular one provided doesn't.I observed the knife edge is very light.Could that be the cause?

      its usually from the knife edge. check the balance and the edging of your knife edge. most times if the knife edge is not balanced or rough or tilted the meter rule wont balance.

      yes bright its do-able however rarely for electricity experiments would u be asked to do for R = 4, most times is prime numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 7,10 etc. this is from the research ive made and judging from previous years. but i believe the experiment was of help to u, was it?
