What do you do in the community? Been going to your church off n on for a year but know nobody there and living in hell and churches I've never attended know more about my life then the church I thought was going to be home

I'm going to start saying that prayer daily. Also liked the part where pastor Bruce had the discernment to realize the c naritive was a lie from hell and figured it out quickly.

The theory that angels fornicated with human women to procreate giants is pure speculation mixed with myth and fairy tales found in non-biblical sources such as the book of Enoch and not the Bible. Peter and Paul both warned the Church that doctrines and heresies like this would come. The Hebrew Masoretic text found in our KJV Bible doesn't help the situation either. One would think that if something this fantastic and supernatural could happen then the Bible would mention it again somewhere, especially since there were in fact giants after the flood but unfortunately there is no mention of Nimrod or Goliath having an angel for a father. Of course, the Rabbi's and Scribes who were alive during and after the time of Jesus absolutely loved this theory and taught it as well. In their thinking if an angel had the ability to create life that would surely destroy the Deity of Christ. Apparently if Jesus wasn't the son of God, they thought he had to be an angel. Some cults actually believe this today. I don't understand why preachers and teachers can't see where a theory like this eventually leads. The scribes responsible for the Masoretic Text sure did and now we have a divided Church by men who rejected Jesus as the Messiah. These same scribes rejected the Apostles, and they rejected the New Testament. They changed the prophecies regarding Jesus just enough to create doubt and since 1611 we have been using an Old Testament that offers confusion rather than clarity, especially dealing with passages such as Genesis 6. I think it was the phrase sons of God that bothered these Jewish scribes the most, so they used the word son in the book of Job to describe angels. Think of the confusion and division those three scriptures have brought in the Church. If you don't believe me, then test the prophecies regarding Jesus with your KJV Old Testament against the Septuagint and see which one is closer to what the apostles quoted in the New Testament. The Septuagint was translated before Jesus' time so there was no bias in those scribes. Jesus warned us about the scribes for good reason. God is not the author of confusion, so something involving certain passages had to have gone wrong after the time of Christ, and many including myself have come to the conclusion that it started with the Masoretic manuscript. Not all of it, just the passages relating to Jesus. This is no secret; our Bibles use a translation of the Old Testament done by men who hated Christ. The sons of God in Gen. 6 are simply what the Bible says they are, sons of God and not angels. Why else would the Masoretic scribes use the phrase sons of God in Job when the Septuagint said angels of God. It was the older text. The entire chapter of Genesis 6 was written in the context of men becoming evil and turning away from God. It had nothing to do with angels or demons. Jesus' genealogy can be traced all the way back down to Adam through the line of Seth and the book of Luke says they were all sons of God. The Bible clearly tells us that the earth was divided by two groups of people before the flood, believers and unbelievers. Anyone can read Genesis 4 and see how ungodly the line of Cain lived, interestingly that chapter also named three beautiful women (daughters of men) in Cain's lineage and there was no mention of anyone ever dying, and then in chapter 5 we see that Seth's descendants were the first people who began to call on the name of Lord (sons of God) but when everyone gets to Genesis 6 the story suddenly changes and it's all about angels. That comes out of nowhere and ignores the context in the previous chapters, it doesn't fit. It's kind of strange and rarely ever mentioned but both lineages started naming their sons with the same names (Enoch, Cainaan, Lamech). Why and how would two distinct groups of people who lived apart from each other start naming their firstborn sons with the exact same name? Remember Cain was banished to wander the face of the earth and was terrified that someone would eventually find him and kill him for murdering Able. Genesis 6 gives us the reason why mankind ends up being totally corrupt and wicked. The sons of God saw how beautiful the daughters of men were, so they started marrying them. Immediately God says My Spirit will certainly not remain among these men anymore. Why? Because they (the sons of God) are flesh, (angels are spirit) and I am going to destroy them in 120 years. That is who the sons of God are, the men who once called on the name of the Lord but are now exactly like the descendants of Cain who was banished. When Solomon married unbelieving pagan women it turned his heart from God. This is what happened before the flood. How can people not see this? The Bible gives us clear examples in (Exodus 34:16 Deut.7:3-6 Ezra 9:2 Nehemiah 10:28-31, 2 Corinthians 6:14) of how God feels about believers marrying unbelievers. In Ezra's day while raining the men were trembling and fearing the Lord was about to destroy them all because of this same exact sin. Isaac did not want Jacob or Esau marrying any daughters of the land, but Esau did. Strange terminology, almost like daughters of men. With the exception of one man all of creation became so wicked that it grieved the Lord to the point that He was sorry he made man. Angels had nothing to do with this and if it wasn't for those mistranslated verses in Job no one would have ever believed what almost everyone is now excepting as truth. In Genesis 19 the Bible says that two angels went to warn Lot to leave Sodom. Why were these angels not called sons of God? No wonder Cults like the Mormons and the Jehovah Witnesses' love the KJV. Can you see the confusion these 3 verses in Job have caused. We have one of the largest cults in the world that think they will be gods someday and another group who thinks Jesus is an angel. What a mess this doctrine and false teaching has caused. Angels are servants and they were created for that purpose. They were never called sons and never will be. We are different from angels. God spoke them into existence, Adam was created from the dust of the earth. We are physical beings; they are spirit beings. Each kind after its own kind does not apply to angels. Be fruitful and multiply was never commanded to angels. Think about it, the Children of Israel and Christians (according to your theory) are called the same thing as fallen angels are, sons of God. You're teaching a lie, not a bad interpretation. A lie

I hate to disagree with Pastor Bruce however the source of happiness is Christ, not the church. Of course the body of Christ should not be neglected but the source of our happiness is Christ. “Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.” John 16:22. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.

Concerns: You employ the vague, generic, subjective & multi-usage modern English “giants” without defining it & without telling us the biblical usage: your implication & the Bible’s usage have nothing to do with each other. You don’t emphasize that the 10 spies were unfaithful, disloyal, contradictory, embellishers who presented an “evil report” and were rebuked by God: no one should believe them. Their mere tall-tale is the only place whence anyone could even imagine post-flood Nephilim & their size: since they’re utterly unreliable, we’re no indication of post-flood Nephilim nor their size.
