If you’re not travelling with it, check out the larger 24” model I recently reviewed. It needs a constant power supply as well as USB C / HDMI, but the additional size is amazing. That’s a great deal!

I’m sorry to hear about your predicament. It has quite a few pockets and dividers so you can organise things easier - and the quality of the duffel is yet to fail on me - so I say go for it if you think you need it!

Both suitcases are great choices from the Samsonite range. They’re both hard shell, zipper less options to keep your belongings and valuables safe when travelling. Being realistic with travel luggage, and the serious limitations inposed by general aviation weight restrictions limits - I believe the sturdiness of the shell is sufficient to protect your stuff. Case in point, I just flew from Australia to the U.S with the Samsonite S’Cure, and had a 24inch portable monitor in it - only loosely wrapped in a jacket and it arrived absolutely fine!

I would go up a size if you wanted to use it with a wool base layer. It’s not tight by any means but I’d rather have a fitted base layer and some extra length on my mid for range of motion.

Thank you. It’s holding up good as new! It’s great quality but I would have gone for a size smaller after wearing it for a while. The size is great for CCW or to cover appendages/loaded belt, but on days off it’s a bit loose.

Thanks for the comment @weabruce I actually saw this incident, and another similar one recently with a hydrobot, debriefed in my local canyoning group over the last few days. Whilst it was reported by a close friend of the person who passed as a gear failure, I think it was likely more related to improper use of the Hydrobot. There are several ways of increasing friction, however they are somewhat more complex then adding friction to some more common passive belay devices.

I've had these for over 2 years, first one is old, not using USB-C charge port instead was micro usb, but even with the wires exposed after daily use for over a year, i bought 3 more for my family because how good for the price it is (like about 30$?), still sometimes wake up sleeping ontop of them and they're perfectly fine lmao was curious if anyones reviewed these because compared to those cheap skull candy wired ones, these are 1000% worth the money, though keep in mind even though you "can" call/voice chat with them the mic is TRASH, i use it for audio/listening purposes only like described in the video (working out). Now just need AR Glasses to watch workout videos without having to face my phone in awkward positions and stop what im doing to adjust where the videos playing form lol

The MB166C runs off 5.24w of power via the USB-C. If the smartphone is capable of powering more than that I can not see why it wouldn’t be able to. Whilst it may be possible it would be highly impractical as opposed to utilising a power bank, and utilise wireless mirroring over WiFi.

@@paulysproductreviews I tested this with my flipper and was able to compromise it. Maybe your card have had a revision since 2023?

The only thing I can think of is you’re placing the reader on the Flipper to the side of the card. Every time I’ve tried to read any one of multiple RFID or NFC cards, these have blocked the signal.

The reported power consumption during use is less that 8 watts, and 0.5 watts in standby/sleep mode. Hope this helps!
