Chinatown During Lunar New Year - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!!
Incoming from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!! Another stop in our trip through SE Asia!

We made our way to Kuala Lumpur because our tourist visa had ran out for Thailand. We had a couple of great experiences in KL even though our overall trip was not the best. Extreme heat and humidity got the best of us, but we still made sure to explore Chinatown and stay in a couple of pretty cool high-rise condo apartments.
We visited the Petaling Street Market and had an awesome time walking through the chinatown Book Xcess which was located inside of a multi-level entertainment building called REXKL. W#e highly suggest doing both if you are staying in the Chinatown area of Kuala Lumpur!

Hey thanks! We actually have no idea! Expected maybe 100-300 views per video. We watched tons of other travel content creators and are taking inspiration for how we edit and things we want to share. @@CaitieandIsaac starting out, I also had very low expectations. But then my actual growth was lower than my expectations. I found this very confusing when comparing my channel to other smaller channels. I have to admit, that my channel experienced some rapid growth in the last two weeks, quite unexplainably. Sure, give me a shout when you guys are back in Bangkok. If by that time you are not too popular to hang out with me. Ha ha.

You need to know that Malaysia is the richest country in Southeast Asia.. and did you know... the tallest tower in the world is in Malaysia... Singapore is just a small country... what do you expect from a small country, none of the tower buildings are as tall as in our Malaysia

No need to fear being in Bangkok. It's one of the safest cities in the world. Pretty much all of SE and E Asia is virtually free of violent crimes and the crime rate is less than 1/12th that of the US.

Michelin star, michelin guide, WAT PHO, WAT ARUN, WAT PRAKAEW, Thai royal grand palace in bangkok, NORTHEAST KAOYAI National park Nakhonratchasima, Near Mahong river Nongkai,NORTH Chiengmai , PAI, SOUTH beach , KAO SOK national park-KOH SAMUI at suratthani, PHUKET PP PATONG RILAY MAYHA, etc. Lucky you.

Thanks for sharing! Are there still slums behind some of the malls? I remember the contrast between the commercialism and poverty (but you had to go and look just behind the malls.). When you head up north, you should see if there are any festivals (like New Year's) - maybe it is too late in January but maybe.
Absolutely the yin and yang of it all is tough to ignore! Though, some of the areas that felt like slums during the day would transform into unbelievable night markets packed with vendors. Another layer to the onion!
And yes Chinese new year is February 10th I believe so we should be able to get in on some festivities!!
