3 Yesrs can make a difference. I am listening to this Pallas interview Jan 15, 2025. Alan Reed has returned to the band; Niall has moved to Cambodia ( that was the country ?) ... I started following PALLAS, on April 1, 1983, after reading the March 1983 Kerrang Fish/ Peter Gabriel 1973/1983 ... 42 years and rolling!
This is awesome!! People should know more about Emily, her works are actually so good it’s insane
Congratulations Prognaut 🎉 and many more to come!
Great stuff. How can one send you their music? is there an email address to connect with you? Please let me know. Thank you!
Goodbye Jeff!
It was a pleasure to speak with you about music and super cool to be a guest on your show :) Very honoured that you are enjoying the new album especially considering the massive amount of new music in your listening queue! Thanks for taking the time Ron!
Finally I'm able to put faces to the names.
Thanks for taking the time for us, Ron!
Thank you for never doing the growl 🙏
Paul is my father’s cousin. I remember going to visit his family in Barnsley around 1989. I would be 14 at the time. Paul’s mum and my Nan were separated around WW2 and after all those years it was a very emotional reunion. We found out when we were catching up in the family’s home that Paul was in a band etc so u ask questions and turns out he’s the lead singer for IQ at that time. I went to school one day, around 6 months later and a guy has a magazine open (it was the British rock magazine Kerrang) and weirdly one of the pages has a full page advert for IQ are you sitting comfortably. I said to Chris (that was his name) oh wow, the singer is a family member of mine. Chris looks up to me as if to say ‘yeah right’ and that was that. Just thought I would share that with you. All true and i love that record. Very Marillion and as a fan of Steven Wilson/porcupine Tree I can hear that influence
One must praise the TDK C-90 and C-60, but you were taking your life in your hands with a C-120. Let us have a minute's silence for the Fallen.
Great discussion. I first saw IQ at the Penny Farthing in Oxford. Possibly 1984. I was, of course, a mere foetus then and stared at the band through the glass of my amniotic fluid canister, which permitted me to be let out for the night. I am looking forward to the Islington gig, to which I will travel like a penitent in a Leonard Cohen song. Some IQ songs do require several listens before clarity comes, but I have had that experience with many pieces of music: from Genesis, Yes, Floyd, etc. to Rammstein, Nightwish, Therion and Lacrimosa.
Thanks Ron - you da man!
Colourflow is a wonderful track. I played that song to death trying to figure out the vocal harmonies
Not enough people know about Emily.
I see the latest court documents show Heidi's brother took a plea bargain in exchange for his Guilty plea for raping Heidi's niece, his Daughter. He recorded the act and distributed the content online. This is his 2nd conviction for sex crimes against children.
Famous last words
Thank you!
I love you picked Regatta De Blanc Alison , i didn't see that coming. Easily my fav Police album and easy make my top fifty albums of all time.
1. Camel - I Can See Your House From Here 2. Kansas - Monolith 3. Max Webster - A Million Vacations 4. Dire Straits - Communique 5. Electric Sun - Earthquake
