Remaining neutral in a world war? Cowardly. Discriminating your own countrymen for fighting against a regime just because you pretend to hate the english? Cowardly. A dark stain on irish history that. Dont forget when hitler died (the guy was responsible for the holocaust dont forget), Ireland sent official condolences to the Nazis. That is the most cowardly thing I've ever heard of.
If you thinks thats bad wait till you hear about the british army
@@anthonym3351 didnt the brits help the irish during thr famin
@@Gypsygeekfreak17 🤣 is this a joke? many see it as a planned genocide and not a famine. The British didnt help as they tried to wipe out ireland
@@anthonym3351 The Irish Famine (1845-1852) was not a planned genocide by the British-it was caused by potato blight, a fungal disease that wiped out Ireland’s primary food source. The British government did not cause the blight, nor did they steal food from Ireland. The real issue was Ireland’s economic system, where Irish landlords-many of whom were Irish themselves-exported food for profit instead of feeding their starving tenants.
@@anthonym3351 The British Did Not Cause the Famine The potato blight was a natural disaster that also devastated crops across Europe and even parts of North America. No British policy created the blight or intentionally worsened it-the failure of Ireland’s main food source was a biological catastrophe.
Techno Sash in the background is definitely the best part
The fact a video like this can even be made is disgusting.

De Valera was a lifelong anti-semite; when Hitler told him what he was doing to the Jews, "Dev" laughed and said "We,re ahead of you there. Mein Fuhrer, five minutes after the Brits left, we gave the yids a swimming lesson!"
He has a forest named after him in Nazarath for saving Jewish children. You're going to need to lie harder.
LIVE LONG PRAY FOR JOYCE ANNETTE BRIGIANA AND MILANTE THEIR ALL. OVER 100 PRAY THEY GET STRONGER AND HEALTHIER AND RAISE IT IN A MEGA HALLELUJAH COMING FROM NORTHERN IRELAND 🌍
A regular lie thrown up by anti-Irish bigots in Great Britain & the USA is that the neutral Irish government knew about the systemic extermination camp system used to kill Jews in the occupied territories before Spring 1945 and this should have been the reason for the Irish government to end neutrality. Documented evidence during the war and the writings of the Allies show the Jewish persecutions were not communicated to the Irish government *and* the Allies themselves, whenever they became aware of them, didn't make ending the persecutions a war priority. Winning the war was always the no 1 priority and protecting intelligence assets like Ultra & Bletchley Park were safeguarded to ensure the war was won. Fact 1) the Allies didn't go to war over the Jewish persecutions pre war or indeed even made it a war aim in 1939. The declarations of war by France & Great Britain don't mention the Jewish persecutions. Fact 2) The Allied High Command didn't try to stop the extermination of Jews at any stage during the war, even when they became obliquely aware of the Operation Rheinhard Camps in Eastern Poland through Enigma intercepts and the Polish Underground post 1942, which they tended to disbelieve as Hitler's extermination policy made no military sense. For instance, Auschwitz is only photographed "by accident" for the first time ever by a SAAF reconnaissance Mosquito, flown by Charles Barry & Ian McIntyre on 4th April 1944 and these photos of the camp were not identified as Auschwitz till 1978. So this proves the Allies themselves were not aware fully of the genocide going on in the East. Indeed, the genocide was such "common knowledge" that the Allies had to bug captured German officers post Normandy in Trent Park (e.g Dietrich von Choltitz, Saviour of Paris fame) who in their supposed self security, let slip their roles in the genocide out east. Regardless, the Allies never shared these details to the Irish government through their diplomats (Sir John Maffey & David Gray) or indeed through the world press. Yet the bigots will claim these camps were "common knowledge" in 1943. In fact, the British & Americans discuss everything about the war except the Jewish persecutions with de Valera. Reference: In Time of War: Ireland, Ulster & The Price of Neutrality, Robert Fisk 1983. Fisk wrote his book based on his PhD research on Irish neutrality in 1979 with Trinity College. Subsequent resort by Irish & international historians since 1983 has confirmed Fisks findings. Fact 3) If ending the Jewish extermination was really an Allied war priority, can you tell me why David Gray, US ambassador didn't mention these persecutions in his ultimatum (full of baseless lies) to the De Valera government on 21st February 1944 as the definitive emotional blackmail slam dunk?? His note is all about Allied war priorities, nothing about the Jews. See below from Irish Dept of Foreign Affairs website Letter from David Gray to Eamon de Valera (Dublin) 'The American Note' (No. 410) DUBLIN, 21 February 1944 Excellency, Your Excellency will recall that in your speech at Cork, delivered on the 14th December, 1941, you expressed sentiments of special friendship for the American people on the occasion of their entry into the present war and closed by saying 'The policy of the State remains unchanged. We can only be a friendly neutral.' As you will also recall, extracts of this speech were transmitted to the President by your Minister at Washington. The President, while conveying his appreciation for this expression of friendship, stated his confidence that the Irish Government and the Irish people whose freedom is at stake no less than ours would know how to meet their responsibilities in this situation. It has become increasingly apparent that, despite the declared desire of the Irish Government that its neutrality should not operate in favor of either of the belligerents, it has in fact operated and continues to operate in favor of the Axis Powers and against the United Nations on whom your security and the maintenance of your national economy depend. One of the gravest and most inequitable results of this situation is the opportunity for highly organized espionage which the geographical position of Ireland affords the Axis and denies the United Nations. Situated as you are in close proximity to Britain divided only by an intangible boundary from Northern Ireland where are situated important American bases with continuous traffic to and from both countries, Axis agents enjoy almost unrestricted opportunity for bringing military information of vital importance from Great Britain and Northern Ireland into Ireland and from there transmitting it by various routes and methods to Germany. No opportunity corresponding to this is open to the United Nations for the Axis has no military dispositions which may be observed from Ireland. We do not question the good faith of the Irish Government in its efforts to suppress Axis espionage. Whether or to what extent it has succeeded in preventing acts of espionage against American shipping and American forces in Great Britain and Northern Ireland is, of course, impossible to determine with certainty. Nevertheless, it is a fact that German and Japanese diplomatic and consular representatives still continue to reside in Dublin and enjoy the special privileges and immunities customarily accorded to such officials. That Axis representatives in neutral countries use these special privileges and immunities as a cloak for espionage activities against the United Nations has been demonstrated over and over again. It would be naïve to assume that Axis agencies have not exploited conditions to the full in Ireland as they have in other countries. It is our understanding that the German Legation in Dublin, until recently at least, has had in its possession a radio sending set. This is evidence of the intention of the German Government to use this means of communication. Supporting evidence is furnished by the two parachutists equipped with radio sending sets recently dropped on your territory by German planes. As you know from common report, United Nation military operations are in preparation in both Britain and Northern Ireland. It is vital that information from which may be deduced their nature and direction should not reach the enemy. Not only the success of the operations but the lives of thousands of United Nation soldiers are at stake. We request therefore that the Irish Government take appropriate steps for the recall of German and Japanese representatives in Ireland. We should be lacking in candor if we did not state our hope that this action will take the form of severance of all diplomatic relations between Ireland and these two countries. You will, of course, readily understand the compelling reasons why we ask as an absolute minimum the removal of these Axis representatives whose presence in Ireland must inevitably be regarded as constituting a danger to the lives of American soldiers and to the success of Allied military operations. It is hardly necessary to point out that time is of extreme importance and that we trust Your Excellency will favor us with your reply at your early convenience. Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration. [signed] DAVID GRAY Fact 4) the Allied commanders themselves didn't make ending the Jewish persecutions a priority. Their sole goal was a military victory and they themselves by their own writing, say thry only discovered the death camps in Spring 1945. If the Western Allies knew the camps existed, wouldn't they have had the medical & food supplies readily available to aid the barely alive prisoners in these camps when they found them??If you read Omar Bradley's A Soldiers Story (1951), he is genuinely shocked to discover for the first time Ohrdruf labour camp on 4th April 1945. Bradley was US 12th Army Group commander and had ULTRA access but claimed these camps were unknown to him. We have to take him and other generals at their word that they did not know the extermination camps existed. Will the bigots call these Allied generals liars now?? Summary: If the Allies didn't know, or claimed to not know, about the systemic extermination camps, nor did they make it a war aim to stop them, nor told the Irish government about them, then the only way the Irish government would've declared war on Germany is on purely strategic grounds, assuming it had the military means to do so. Which they definitely DID NOT have or indeed even have now today. This slander of the Irish people and government using the Holocaust is easily dismissed by documented evidence and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
