Video was im my TH-cam recommendations only because I searched for clips about this stadium before. It's so stylish.
Thank you for the information. I have multiple gggg grandmothers who were filles de roi. My ancestors came to Canada in the late 1500's to early 1600's. Not much is written about these women. But I think of them when doing genealogy.
The politicians don't say we should shut the door on newcomers. All parties in Québec are pro-immigration. But they want less immigrants. We have to build roads, schools, hospitals if we want to offer a good quality of life to citizens.
Very interesting. But why is the reporter talking about this like if these criminals were 'cool' or 'badass'?
Romados and Ma Poule Mouilee aren't chains as your questioner said; they're single restaurants. Also, please don't have your questioner do the voice over if they're gonna butcher the pronunciation.
C,est ben effrayant torturer les Anglos de cette facon. C,est simplement inhumain !
Possibly yeah
Did they ever pay The Big Owe off? A colossal money pit, and a dump.
Garder le votre anglais 😂
plante's vision continues
$32 million to run the facility and revenues of $20-25 million per year. If calculated in 2024 dollars, the amount spent on the big O is closer to $9 billion. Does anyone think that the price for the newest roof will hold? Probably close to $1 billion will be wasted. The Professor is correct. It should be torn down and an efficient Facility built to replace it.
The big Oh-O
Moi je suis polyglotte et parle 8 langues, mais pas anglais.
Hold on, just a second. One thousand pins? WTF?
What a surprise to find. My 8th Great Grandmother, a Fille de Roi, was Elizabeth Roy or le Roy. Another young lady came to New France, my 10th Great Grandmother, Anne Ledet. She is listed as a Fille Du Marrier or a girl to get married and make babies. Both of these young women came from around Normandy. Anne has many mentions in Quebec history. The progeny of these young women came together with my 6th Great Grandfather, Nicholas Tranchemontagne and passed down from the Soulliere family. Nobody, in the family, ever said a freaking word about this and only because of Ancestry I was able to find out. Oh, and because of the ancestry my cousin is Madonna. Not the Holy Mother of God but the pop singer.
Sorry to tell you guys but it’s not worth the trip… there are other places in Montreal way more interesting…
what is famous about that stadium? nothing! ... It should be torn down and rebuilt into a new stadium
It will cost as much to demolish it that it did to build it
"It has acquired an international reputation". Yes, as an example of every mistake that can possibly be made when designing and building a stadium.
Build a permanent roof and use the stadium for concerts/events/sports
Please extend the Subway line to Lachine.
Braidead people education that never ends . fem falling for everything. french required to get a job . college and uni is a scam
Given how much it costs, I sure hope the money it brings in from tourism makes it worthwhile.
First time I ever hear Bonhomme speak…especially in English! 😅
What about leave the tower, tear-down the stadium - then rebuild it to more modern standards? IDK. $900M demo fee lol
Frog isn't that hard, just learn the Frog.
This insecure tantrum coming from the Québécois leadership is only making it less appealing for me to learn French.
More transit for the west island and jackshit in the east. 😂
Oh but it's a source of Quebecois pride and must be preserved at all costs!!!
I wish this was on the phone, not having to buy a blue card
I did a study abroad in Madrid and took a 5 weeks intensive Spanish class and went from 0 to beginner very quick and from living there for a year got to intermediate. This should be easy.
You did it full time. These are full time students in other subjects. They have to find the time between their regular studies and part time jobs, it's not easy at all.
P r o m o s m 🤘
Stop disabling comments on your videos, don’t be scared of what the people have to say
I like how they protect their language. They took it seriously, unlike other people
It is unfortunate as it was a very revolutionary and futuristic vision. However, in my mind, the difficulty is hiring an architect with little to no experience designing a stadium/roof such as this in such a cold and snowy climate with little to no experience in that climate. Hope it stays and they find a solution.
I learned German and wrote my thesis in German (300 pages) in 5 years. Level 5 is like European B1: you can talk while making 5 mistakes per sentence... Nobody outside North America would think this is a lot to ask.
While a B1 level is not super high, it does take some real effort. A person could probably achieve a B1 in 3-4 months full time. But that's full time, if you are student or immigrant it's doubtful you can study 40 hours a week.
This is the very start of B1 level. This is very doable.
VIVE LE QUÉBEC LIBRE!!!
Good to know and also you got a new sub ❤
What is the history of defunding the CBC? soon we will see. lol
Deep investigation....*sarcasm*
Way to go CBC. Encouraging criminal behaviour.
nah what's criminal it's the thousand of housing empty and used for speculation by foreign banks while we are in a housing crisis
Don't waste people's time with these boring low effort videos.
There's no cure for narcissism and it's the CBC's fuel. That's why the only fleeting seconds of chicken in the whole video is the host eating it and they could be bothered to talk to a single owner or longtime employee.
The supported lies from fed.and prov.liberals😢😢😢
Don't forget about the NIMBYs...
Tuition is still cheaper in Quebec than anywhere else in NA... Students will still come, some won't, but it's their loss really. Learning a second or third language is a great asset to have and it opens you up for lots of experiences !
WASTE OF TAX PAYER MONEY!! These systems will never make a profit nor solve traffic. We need more lanes and larger roads for this!
I Hope youre sarcastic
You really don't understand how the real world works
Construction + Corruption + Quebec = sounds about right!!!!!
Computer by itself created inventions. This is written on the Internet.
Is the big O going to be gutted and renovated to try to bring the Expos back to Montreal?? SkyDome just got renovated it would be nice to see the Expos return
