First Hike Of 2025 Mount Tammany
Today I hike the Mount Tammany Loop in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. I was really nice to get outside after being cooped up in the house from fighting a sickness that I got over the Christmas Holiday.

Join us on another snowmobiling adventure in the Tug Hill Region of New York. We encounter a few firsts and some problems!! The caliper on my 2004 Skidoo GSX locked up, overheated, and caught on fire! Luckily I was able to put it out quickly, rectify the problem, and continue with our ride! This was also Kathys first time solo riding on the snowmobile!

Snowmobiling In Pennsylvania, Not Tug Hill, First Ride
I can relate to the feeling of not gaining ground it was that way when we got close to finishing PA. If you haven't tackled all the Catskill peaks that is a push for going on trips up there. That's what I use aside from the AT I want to tackle all the peaks of the Catskills and Adirondacks.
Happy New Year Adam! I’m hoping to get out for 3-4 overnights this year. Probably a solo on the Pinchot or Loyalsock, as well as the AT. Gotta get southern PA sections done…I’ve done Hawk mountain to DWG. Cheers!
Always wondered what was up that trail…I always too the other up to the pond. I’ll be thru hiking the AT this year. Check the NPS website for when the waysides open (various dates…last one is 15May). It’s great to have food at the waysides and camp stores in Shenandoah. It’s like the 100 mile wilderness this time of year.
nice lookin spot Adam
Stop recording urself... video the trail view
That was the first and only time I recorded like that. I was experimenting. Check out my other snowmobile videos and you would have seen that.
I think they'd work fine for non winter emergency use, if your not a fast food joint. I pick them up at thrift stores when they get marked down. Also work for chaffing dishes, like they were designed for. My backup use is during hurricane season which cold is not the issue.
The videos on your youtube channel are very nice. Your youtube channel video quality is very good. Thumbnails are eye catching. Your channel deserves more views. But there is some problem with your channel. For which your channel views and subscriptions are not increasing. If you say I can share with you.
Most boring mountain coaster I've seen
Nice trip looks like you had great weather for it. The Basin area is pretty cool those streams have some good force behind them. The size of the boulders is always impressive. I like the the lens clean on Mt Washington. I've left a few of those shots in videos before.
Another Great video Adam ! 👍🏼 Always wanted to check out My Washington in the middle of winter 😁
Thanks for watching! I'm waiting to see your camping videos! It was great to meet you last weekend!
Love this area! I went down that way from Lonesome Lake after the Kinsmans kicked my butt back in the winter…walked across the lake. The Basin is one of my favorite spots to visit…old family favorite. 😍 great trip hitting Washington too! Beautiful falls and views…awesome!
I just wish it wasn't such a long ride!
no info? what, where, when and WTF are you pulling it from a tree?
Good video
That 1st site is the one we used last year. Man that's a long time to go without a Catskills trip I think my longest was 3 years. Beautiful area as always makes me want to plan another trip up there I need to check off some more of the peaks up there.
That's an obnoxious narration. Any place that has to promote itself like that doesn't get it. Stupid.
Yeah, agree with Hamilton hickman. Moving to Lake Placid soon and I'll check it out, but if there is no option to ride without someone constantly talking, I'll definately pass. Other than that, something cool to do.
Pennsylvania's unknown trail. I've been up there many times Maybe next year it'll be deeper
Chris sure has one mean Smoke System!😊
I’ve been there! Beautiful!
$55 IS ABSOLUTE ROBBERY. I literally just got back last week from Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg. They have a ton of them and one was $18 a person and other one was $19. Both of them you could ride at night and they were lighted. You also could actually enjoy your surroundings because you didn’t have someone talking the entire time. I live in the area by the way so the fact they are gouging everyone is no surprise. Lake Placid area is snob city.
i was just out there this last weekend, ive never seen soo many people here.. was like 15 cars parked
Looks like a fun spot to camp. I can’t believe you didn’t just yolo and jump off the tree ladder? (Kidding) was that a loop ?
I didn't see another person out there!
Been a minute since you made a hiking video!
Summer isn't really my hiking season, Fall and Winter is my favorite!
@@adamzadventures I agree!!
I need a good overnighter out on trail brother !! Good video my friend !
Thank you!
Wheelslip!! Nice man you got a good shot
When I first heard of thisni wanted to do it. Now I don't too much audio
I know it's been a while but I'm staying there soon and I have a question. How many pillows were there? Did you cook on the fire box? Do I need a bear bag? Thanks for this great video!!!
Sorry, give me a SD clip flashlight anytime, I’ll carry the extra pound.
Fun!!!! ☀️😃
Mountain Coasters in Tennessee are cheaper and doesn’t have the added audio.
Depends which one in PF?I'e been on the Smokey Mntn one twice. It's the longest one and has the lights for riding it a night.
Ugh...so slow!!!😊
Very nice and good shots! Great video, great channel subscription is out, greetings from Austria Johnny like 8 👍
Nice hike. You can't go wrong with the link loop. Maybe the night out sleeping in the woods helped with your mood.
A night in the woods definitely refreshens the soul!
The growing volume of standing dead trees is becoming alarming!
Thanks for posting this. We are taking the Anthem next month out of the UK to Norway😊
When's the next cruise??? Nice video.
Nice video 👍 Amazing scenery 🌳🌲
Yes thought it - looks like so much fun Yahoo
Great if you don't want to get any sleep
Jersey Hiker here! Culver Fire tower, Gren Anderson shelter, Sunrise Mountain and Pavilion, Mashipacong shelter, Rutherford shelter and High Point Shelter. Great video! ✌🏻
Is that tower by Stokes it looks similar to the one I saw hiking in that area a year or two ago. Some nice shelters along the way not all are tall guy friendly by the looks of it. How are you liking going to ground? I've gone to the tent more in the last year than I have in years.
Yes, that tower is in Stokes, Looks freshly painted. Going to ground is ok, I and still trying to dial my sleep system in for it, I have been trying different pads. I definitely sleep more comfortable in the hammock. I have my go to set up for that, just trying to figure out my go to system for my ground setup. Each has their place.
I always liked New Jersey!
Hey thanks for sharing this. Seemed like a cool ride and at most I can see you hitting 25-30mph at times.
Good video. Nice to see the local trails.. i live on the h trail north of starucca. Been 2 years since we had good snow
you've got moisture in your reservoir / brake fluid, evacuate it all and put fresh in moisture expands with heat and locks your brake up
Hey Adam I like the way that u ride not like the others I watch Thanks Joe Taylor Apache Junction,AZ
I’m about the cruising, sightseeing, and having a great time. I feel no need to race to wherever I am going.
The caliper issue sucks but it helps that you could handle it. Nice day out otherwise.
Looks fun!
Great secret system. Don't tell anyone or to many jersey folk will come
I trail? On the way to the b?
