I Painted One Miniature A Day for 25 Days And This Is What I Learned
I did I challenge where I painted 1 miniature a day for 25 days. It was my own version of an advent calendar. In this video I go over the things I learned from that process.

Today just painted my first 2 minis. Never touched a brush, I took me a long time, but I loved the results. Congrats on your streak.
Congratulations on getting started. This is an excellent hobby, and I hope you find a lot of joy in painting.
that’s really cool how you put a loot of detail into it
Looks great! 👍
Thanks! 👍
Wth seriously?? Baking soda does that?? Literally learned something I need desperately in 10 seconds on one of your vids that has 6 views. But the big channels keep saying the same tips everyone says. Gr8 vid!
It a pretty common technique for anyone who does terrain building or scratch bashing. I think a lot of the bigger channels forget to mention it because they assume everyone already knows it. It's easy to forget that anyone new isn't' going to already know this stuff unless we go out of our way to bring it up.
@SirKex Well I'm very glad you did! What will your 25th mini today be! Better be big! Lol
Where's this mini from?
It's a custom Mini from Heroforge.
Good shit man. Get in there and paint! I wish I had an airbrush. Make my priming 10X easier
I pretty much only use mine for priming and varnishing, and I still feel it was a great investment just so I don't have to deal with rattle cans anymore.
Good stuff
This was relaxing to watch, good music too
Good luck, god speed, and merry Christmas my brother in paint 🫡
Same to you!
Whether it's DnD, Warhammer 40k, or any other tabletop RPG or war game involving miniatures, the effort required to paint all those figures must be exhausting yet well worth it.
Nice coloring, it looks absolutely DOPE. And hope you have a wonderful Christmas man, you deserve it
Best praetor.
He really is.
Heck yeah, I'm doing this too rn! Unfortunately, my derpy fluffbutt decided a Dominus Knight was a reasonable attempt.
It might seem like a lot, but imagine how cool it'll be when your finished.
@SirKex Ye! Got him done, and I've got a decent week behind me of models. Fortunately, Ultramarines are a simple color scheme.
Well done friend! Love those speed paints
Thank you! Cheers!
I love your videos❤🍄✨
Thank you.
Following this has been an absolute treat
It's been a treat to make.
Good luck mate. Wish I had the opportunity this year
Hopefully next years better for you.
Like, paint them by Christmas 2075, or....?
All I want from Christmas Is a pile of shame
lol
I really do tho I'm new to the hobby
Nice keep going
Thank you, I will
Hi!❤🎨✨
hello
Thank you for putting your art out here. I find it very inspiring, because I too have a box of shame. ❤🎨
You’re welcome
Nice bro, its beautifull
Thank you.
The finished troll looks good! Hope you have fun with the other ones.
My pile of shame is getting out of control. I’ve hit a painting lull for the past few months. Pushing to get ONE done before Christmas. My last mini I finished was Yndrasta and she took about three months. I’ve heard these lulls are normal! Keep going!
I've had multiple year long periods before where I stopped painting. I think it can be really important not to push yourself to hard when you're not feeling into it. It's supposed to be a hobby not your job, and one of the worst things you can do is push yourself to the point you start hating it.
Heck yea awesome! Don't forget the #1 rule, have fun. I also follow another rule where i avoid perfection and set a goal so that i am happy with the results regardless. I think those 2 things fuel passion, at least they do for me anyways.
One of the most surprising thinks I've found about painting like this is how freeing it ends up being. When the goal is just finishing on time regardless of quality it starts to become much easier to experiment. When you no longer care about what the results are it's real easy to just try stuff and see what happens.
@@SirKex i agree completely!
You can do it
Wish you luck
It's been going well so far.
i thought it was usagi yojimbo when i saw the blue coat. freaking good job dude!
Yojimbo is a classic.
another banger. excellent color blending
Thanks. It's actually pretty easy to get smooth blends with an airbrush. I Really should use mine more often since it can speed up the process.
poor little kobold. he need a hug. at least he got a cool paint job though.❤
He's got booze and Baguette so he should be fine.
colors are mad
looks awesome
Absolutely love the color scheme
two small partial boxes isnt a 'pile of shame'... noob
this might be the corniest shit i’ve ever read
I store most of my shame digitally.
love it! do it
Oh. I'm gonna
