Wow, First Take used to be analytical! Also gotta love Skip straight up calling it. Weeden didn't pan out, but he really is kind of underrated these days. He could have worked short term for a stronger team; McCoy, on the other hand, indeed should've been allowed a bit more time to grow in Cleveland.

MaddenLightning was thinking the same thing but looking back the draft was actually very strong despite some big whiffs at the top. Aside from Luck the first round had Luke Kuechly, Stephon Gilmore, Fletcher Cox, Melvin Ingram, Chandler Jones, David DeCastro, Dont’a Hightower, and Harrison Smith who are all top 10 players at their positions. And every round but the seventh and every position but center saw multiple future pro bowlers selected.
Luck was godly and RG3 was great before his injury
