I'm in Phoenix and I had no idea about Stinknet. Just learned about it last week from a random video suggestion. I'm pretty sure it is was set of bronchitis and need for asthma inhalers the past month. I had to clear and level about about 200sq ft in my backyard March 2024 and it was intertwined with the Bermuda grass. I have lived in this home 15 years and did my normal allergy meds and PPE for my yard work. Definitely was feeling more eye, throat, and nasal burn during and after working. I thought it was something in the soil like valley fever. Was tested for that and negative. Luckily, chest xray showed it did not set into my lungs. Did a course of prednisone, then antibiotics, along side inhalers for asthma, which I've never had to use before. A month into it, it has slowly improved but I still get irritation in my throat and slight loss of voice when I have to speak loud for long periods of time.

Therefore they became "pests" just when they represent a risk to our sustainable management activities. How is contaminated char used for environmental remediation of toxic or forever chemicals processed for disposal. My guess is that it is reduced to ash to reduced the total cubic volume of waste to be stored/ disposed. My main concern is that this heavy metals laden char is not able to make it into use where plant life/ animal life for food or wild. Just watched a vice documentary about a beef farmer who had his land rezoned to prohibit AG use of the land ,due to having been given(free/ highly recommended for AG use by EPA) vast quantities of biosolids from the loacal waste water treatment plant where pfas was being concentrated into the sludge from a nearby chrome plant for auto makers.
