After spending 1.5 years in Norway, I realized I need to move further to where I can fulfill myself as an animator. But to do this, I need to be physically present in the United States.
Brad Schiff, an American stop-motion animation director and Oscar winner for Best Visual Effects, recommended I create a short film to get noticed and invited.
But I have no directorial ambitions; I am a craftsman/stop-motion animator and just want to be part of a team, a cog in the big machinery of animation production.
I am an introvert and I regret that I haven't been able to establish strong relationships with many of you, so I probably don't have the right to ask for something in return right now. But I will try.
Currently, I see only one way to the US-the U4U program for Ukrainians.
I ask you or your acquaintances to help me reach my Mount Hood.
I am looking for a "formal" sponsor.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. We had both standard models, and we also made custom skeletons. Unfortunately, due to the war, lack of electricity, water and the bombing of the city in Ukraine, we were forced to close our production, which was located near the front line. My partner is now a volunteer and helps people. But I left Ukraine and am now building up a portfolio in character animation techniques using the tools that we created earlier. Best Danylo Maliuha

There are plenty of videos with amazing stop-motion animations online. This funny video I shot a few years ago. Assembling skeletons for animation was very calming for me. These joint parts looked like pieces of gold, it was pleasant to touch them, it was like meditation! It's wonderful.
