Worked there few yrs early sixties competing against older brother who's faster on prep line he-he, place was a goldmine. Original owner & helluva worker Nick was still raking it in w/bro-in-law Arthur, a laid-back fat-cat when in '72-'73 went back for little while after service. Quite an institution hopefully, new owner will continue w/uncompromising quality.

I ate here numerous times back in 1988 and 1989 when I lived in New Britain. It was always busy on Saturday, but there was NEVER a wait. THEY ARE FAST!
