And The Life Of This World Is Merely The Enjoyment Of Delusion (Quran 57:20)
The third part of the Surat Al-Hadid trilogy concludes by emphasising the transient and illusory nature of wordly life, its various pleasures summarised in a fraction of a verse as sport and entertainment, vain adornment, mutual rivalry and greed. The sura also emphasises the use of power (symbolised by iron) to uphold justice rather than to oppress.
