United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 2 ก.พ. 2019
This channel is full of tips and tricks of what not to do in order to help you improve your fishing skills. I created this channel to record and share my fishing moments whether good or bad. I’m not an expert at fishing or kayaking. My intention is for entertainment instead of tutorial. My upload are random, starting in spring and continues through the end of fall.
I like to fish for the following:
Striped bass, Blue fish, Tautog, Black sea bass, Weakfish, Dog fish, Porgies, Fluke / Flounder, and finally everybody’s favorite the Sea Robin. Remember to hit like 👍🏽and subscribe. Thanks for watching.

Fishing on a foggy day can be a unique and atmospheric experience. The mist softens the surroundings, creating a sense of solitude and focus. Visibility may be limited, but the stillness of the water and the muted sounds add to the tranquility. Fog often makes fish less wary, as the reduced light and haze can lower their sense of danger. It’s also a good time to fish deeper waters, as the fog c...
Striped bass fishing

Enjoying the last few good day I have left of Kayaking this December. I kayak for a couple of hours with no hits, when suddenly this nice 30 plus inch striper hit my jig.
Carolina Rig for striped bass.

When targeting striped bass, using new lures can definitely enhance your chances of success. New designs in soft plastic baits, like swimbaits, can mimic the natural movement of baitfish. Look for lifelike colors and realistic finishes.

Giving the kayak a brake until I fix my sonar. I will be doing some onshore fishing for some stripers using a new paddle tail.

I love fishing
Nice. How do you like the Compass? I’m seriously thinking about getting one.
The compass is comfortable, it handles well on rough conditions. I’m able to quickly and quietly move towards schools of fish.
Those aren’t fish, those are baby sharks.
I asked the fisherman, what type of shark is it? He said dog shark. It’s used for fish and chips lol
@@YAYOSKAYAK interesting. Thanks for sharing, I never would have guessed the fish n chips!
Looks like sharks and chips
It’s dog shark and it’s used for fish and chips, according to the fishermen 😆
Nice my brother thanks for the tips
Happy Father's day Yayo!
I'm coming over
Awesome man! Makes me want to go fishing right now!!
You should try and get out there 🎣. Took me a while to get the hang of it, I think the new setup worked 😆
Nice
great video yayo. please send some of those fluke towards narragansett. do you ever use stink juice on the bucktail to try to attract more fish? stay safe dude.
Stink juice? I use gulp or sometimes flukes.
excellent work smithers! still too cold and lumpy here in narragansett. there were a few kayaks fishing around kettlebottom early this morning targetting tog but i don't thing they even saw a bird nevermind caught anything. stay warm and safe Yayo. thanks for posting
It’s been difficult getting them schoolies to bite, especially with this heavy gust of wind. Couple more weekends 🎣
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice one brother
Awesome fish! I wish they grew that big down here in Texas. We have plenty of numbers with Texoma and Possum Kingdom but they are on the small end (5-10lbs average, at least for me).
These striped bass are migratory fish from the North Atlantic Ocean. So Hooking up on 30+ inch striped bass is still something rare too me. Im lucky to hook up on one.
What are those gloves you’re wearing and do they keep you warm? Early spring fishing for me is usually limited by how long it takes my hands to freeze and often it’s not too long.
Got them a few years ago at Walmart, not that warm. I doble up on gloves and place a small heating pad that I buy from homedepo on the back of my hand. I also put one in my coat pocket to warm up my fingers. The hand warmers does the trick.
Oia pescaria boa , pescar num frio desses não é fácil 😅😅😅
First! where are you fishing?

Nice dude. What state do you fish in?
CT river
What was it!
Probably a 40” striped bass.

@@YAYOSKAYAK damn eastcoast stripers are monsters ... I've only gone to Oklahoma and Tennessee River for them.
Are you fishing in Connecticut?
Yes I travel up and down Long island sound Connecticut
Nice fish. What brand of paddletail are you using?
When I’m not using my home made plastic lures, I like to use ZOOM pearls or anything dark.
I always like to fish in these type of areas!
Bridges are perfect areas for tautog. Especially since it’s close to the shore.
Couldn’t stop watching, great backwards fishing and seeking the drop!
I noticed a boater doing it and how well he was hooking up fish.
Nice one
Was just there lastnight , they were definitely out man !! Tight lines
That’s what a few of the guys were telling me and showing me pics of some huge striped bass. I have to try the night fishing one of these days. 👍🏽

Nah, it's a small beach by Calf Pasture Norwalk. I haven't had a chance to venture out to the NY area yet. But I do follow a few fishing TH-camrs from NY, they have great fishing content.
