I do really enjoy the reversed state this record was released in, I think it is haunting and alien, but i reversed the songs back and placed the songs in a way that gives the record a different, more natural experience for me. 00:00 - Sís Around the Sándmill 03:55 - Opís Helpus 12:30 - Who Wellses In My Hoff 16:20 - Lay Lay Off, Faselam 20:18 - Palenka 25:55 - Foetus No-Man 30:00 - Sasong 34:20...

song by Liaison video directed by Galaxia Miller song is an old throwaway demo … Ethlyn C. Miller was born on a Sunday. November 18th, 1928 She was a fierce scorpio hiding a heart of gold, and never ashamed of her shared birthday with America’s favorite, Mickey Mouse. Ethlyn grew up in Idaho during the Great Depression. Her childhood ceased as the 2nd World War seized fire. She married Kenneth,...

Taken from Hoyas (2013-2017), a collection of some of my older tracks before I move on to bigger things. Lyrics: I am a tree With no rings Blown out by wind Holding the tent Down with my knees Sheets on a clothesline Lights hung in the sky The flames besides Cast a shape I stood on the beach Wet legs caked in sand The breeze passed through And took me in As my world closes in I take up more spa...

Wow. Thank you for this.
Ive loved this playlist for so long everything about it i have a lot of trouble finding it sometimes but thank you for making it, I really appreciate it.
@@sushidog5312 that means so much to me, thank you! if you’re interested i made a sequel mix like 7 years later : on.soundcloud.com/MHt2kiKcxWMZycKc6
@@icarusmachines ahhhh thank you im gonna give that a listen, i seriously cant describe how much this playlist means to me, everything about it feels like it perfectly captures the vibe of the time i heard it
@@sushidog5312 that makes me so happy, it’s very surreal that i could compile something that’d have so much meaning for someone. it carries some emotional weight for me as well, really brings me back to that time in my life
@@icarusmachines ofc❤️
Last two songs are ugly Casanova
they’re closely affiliated enough for me to count
it's insane how different the bring the sun part of the glowing man sounds from the original bring the sun
Thank you for uploading this
This rocks
thank you!
these visuals remind me heavily of Stan Brakhage.
i believe i sampled a bit of his work at a point in here, big hero of mine
what caused it? Was it Pink Floyd? Why do people put children, or even the sound of babies crying, in their recordings? And you're like, "that was annoying, what a terrible decision," as it plays again on repeat. I guess these musicians would get more popular and lose their cred if they cut the baby noises. But Throbbing Gristle, Swans, Legendary Pink Dots, Current 93, Aphex Twin, and more... why?
i like it
I don't like it either but jesus christ dude it's not a big deal
Just wonderful ❤
Shamanism.
Visuals on-point. Swans is the greatest band I ever saw live.
This is amazing. Thanks Donna
the amount of tracks in this were well over a hundred

Great song.
This is literally so amazing, phenomenal work
i appreciate this greatly, thank you
The glowing man is the best song like… ever
One of the most special albums
it really is, such an intimacy and love and strangeness that only belongs to this record
I’d divorce someone too if we made a great album together only for it to be released in reverse
needle point is the most emo song theyve ever written
Glowing man > the beggar lover (three)
i fully agree, the glowing man is one of the bands greatest achievements, and while full of amazing moments and atmosphere and texture, and it is certainly nothing to scoff at, beggar lover (three) can feel a slightly haphazard. and while the scattered collage like flow and structure is probably part of the point, it can be a little unfulfilling as a whole. a style they did better on an album like soundtracks for the blind
Song names?
they should be in the description
ok thx@@icarusmachines
im kinda stupid so i didnt think to check@@icarusmachines
This playlist hits a little too hard. I feel so unwelcomed at home, so I avoid it. But everyone is leaving, so I'm losing my escapes.
this mix is a 10/10 masterpiece ✨🖼
thank you!
Falling asleep to Fritz like a baby every night <3
wow amazing
I can't tell if this is the same as the album version. What's the difference other than the order/mix?
there’s no real difference, just putting these two tracks together. also i spliced in the ending of the song leaving meaning at the end of beggar lovers to make it feel more final
Needlepoint ❤
Thank you ❤
HOLY SHIT DUDE! What an excellent idea my friend <3 <3 Thanks! Is it possible to have a mp3 from for this? I will even buy it :)
thank you! unfortunately i don't have the files anymore but there are plenty of youtube to mp3 websites out there that you can use
R.i.P. THIS MUSIC in me heart. JEREMIAH the GOD YOUR FRIEND,. thanks .... .
America’s full frontal response to bjork
I love the visuals thx for this
thank you very much
Wow just wow
Still amazing.
such a powerful and underrated piece, i'm glad you've been enjoying it for so long
Found this playlist a couple of months ago in TH-cam recommendations and can't stop listening to it. Not every day, of course, but often enough. I don't have any friends irl, just a few online buddies with one of whom I'm unrequitedly in love with and... Listening to your playlist I often imagine how we walk together through the streets of my small town. Joking around, holding hands, all those little things. Every time I feel sad, realizing that this is not really the case, that in fact I am just a lonely, depressed teenager with no job or school.
i’m in a very similar situation as you are, i was when i threw together this dumb little mix a few years back, i am now. i'm glad this can bring you something, even if bittersweet. all will be okay.
This is bigger than life
This is beggar than life
Amazing
This video is too short, you simply can't just directly jump in Glowing Man song without having an hour of getting ready to it by other songs that are meant (IMHO) to be played before. Same applies to the 44 minutes long "The Beggar Lover (Three)" without listening to the other 9 songs that comes before. Anyways it's awesome.
this is fair, i agree both pieces work best in album context (although i think they can also be admired on their own), was mostly curious about how it would sound to combine since beggar lovers starts with the same drone glowing man ended with and i needed to scratch that itch, thank you
they could have been made this way. I don't think the other 9 songs are any prerequisite. A band lets their hair down and experiments, and they craft studio songs in a different way. After Soundtracks for the Blind, Gira decided it wasn't worth blending all these snippets to make some bogus narrative out of a bunch of jam sessions.
yeah honestly they should have just put the entire trilogy before The Glowing Man so you can get the "full experience"
🖤🦇🖤🎩.
Nice mate two total masterpieces. Subbed.
Top tier content
crazy how just two songs from this band are more intense and entrancing than most band's entire albums
Hey nice pfp. NJ is always a classic go too. Still get goosebumps listening to “Small Spark vs A Great Forest” every so often haha
Nice one!!
What a ride that was, brilliant!
these visuals are crazy good
thank you!
Damn, did not realize Beggar Lover’s opening was the end of The Glowing Man, just knew it was familiar!! Thanks for this!
That's awesome
