I've been practicing with my teacher's video every day for 5 years. Thank you always for sharing good practices
Thank you! I love sharing the exercises I enjoy with other players
This version is straight FIRE!!!!!!
Nice!
I really like your sound. Do you maybe know some flow exercises for euphonium?
Thank you! I’ve got a set of flow studies with backing tracks for euphonium if you’re interested
Where you at?
At Luzerne Music Center in New York!
Gosto Muito de fazer este exercício antes de tocar...parabéns!
I’m glad you enjoy it!
Very good excercises
Thank you!
Gooood
Thank you!
Nice
These are exercises I was given by Don Harry. “from J. Novotny” on the top. They are very good exercises! I agree ☝️
Yes I believe you are correct! I remember this one from a packet he titled Warm Ups from He!! 😆
Love your stuff
Thank you 🙏
buenísimo!!!
Thanks for putting these up! I love buzzing to this one.
Ditto
Dear Brett could have some more or these James Jameson baselines please? Thanks very much
How do you slur up without making that grainy sound? I've been trying everything but nothings working
think about tongue placement as opposed to lip placement. that's at least how i figured out about it
Where do you think I should be placing my tounge when I'm slurring up?@@darklordbingus8705

Amazing work! The first time I listened to this piece I was very struck: using a relatively simple technology Luigi Nono obtains a very close and refined interaction between the soloist and the live electronics. I liked it so much that I decided to use some of those composing strategies to write my own piece inspired by Post-Prae-Ludium for Donau. In my piece, the architecture of the soloist's sound elaborations is a free reinterpretation of the one used by the venetian composer in 1987, while the flute part (I choosed the flute) is entirely original. The electronics are made in MaxMSP environment, require for quadraphonic diffusion and, I would like to underline it, exactly as in Post-Prae-Ludium for Donau consist exclusively of real-time treatment of the flute, without the use of synthesizers of any kind or pre-recorded tracks. Great recording, great playing! Congratulations!
Hello, is this piece made with Cellular Automata?
😻 "PromoSM"
this is a great excersise
😂❤
Amazing range!
Why exactly is it called "Fat Lip.."? Happy new year, dear tuba mate :)
No real good reason actually...tho it is a nod to that killer Sum 41 song
Love it Dr. C!!!
Yes, dude I love your stuff. Its finally something I can jam out to when warming up or practicing with some headphones.
This is honestly brilliant, I should start doing something like this for long tones. I just get sooo bored lol, a backing track would at least give me a bit more to stay focused with.
Plus it's for CC tuba, which is what I have! Always got frustrated trying to find the right fingerings with the fifth valve in the low range, but was able to copy yours!
These are so incredible for warming up and intonation and I thank you
This is a great warmup. Thank you
That is a CHUNKY tuba
This is the shit. Such a good way to measure progress coming back to this video and seeing how much further through it I can go
This is incredible wow
Hell yeah
The dude has skills.
thank u mr.dough
Are you planning on adding the high register exercises to your channel as well?
Cool Brett! Fun fact - I did the original manuscript copy work for Roger for Mastering the Tuba, in pen and ink way back in the days before Finale, Sibelius, etc. so many ledger lines! Your accompaniment makes me reflect on how things have changed over the years. The tuba hasn’t changed, nor has Stamp, but with such resources as yours, tubist just HAVE NO EXCUSE for not practising or for playing out of tune 😉👍🏻
That is so cool! Thank you for saying that, and thank you for helping to provide this amazing resource for tuba players all over the world!
🎶🎶🎵🎶👍🏼now it will be more than fun to study thanks.
Do you guys have the notes for Bb tubas
