It should work on any version, having said that this strategy is a bit outdated, I recommend going for the strategy I used in the speedrun, it’s a bit better.

@@MisteruDeBartz Yeah, it’s one of the hardest bosses if you don’t have enough HP, having said that it’s beatable at level 40 or a bit lower with the correct equipment and growth map, make sure to try to match them as close as you can, you can see the equipment I used in the speedrun video.

It increases your defense stat by 20% but in the damage calculation formula the attack gets multiplied by 2 so the attack stat is twice as important as the defense stat, is it a waste of time? it depends on the battle and the ranges you are working with (e.g if using it allows you to survive a cycle with a very low amount of health then it’s better than having to revive that character) but generally speaking it’s better to be hyper offensive in this game, if you want to play around with the formula you can do it here docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1STsuQ2usuB-VDFUeCtFKgCdjvHf43n4u2CNkLJNDEYc/edit, make a copy of the file to be able to edit it, edit the attacker’s attack and the target’s defense, edit the ratios and on the bottom left and on the right side you will see the total damage for every attack.

I speedrun the game, this is an old strategy, I’m using a different and more consistent strategy on the speedrun (at an even lower level), you can watch that part of the speedrun if you are curious about the equipment and growth map I used, I also know exactly what its going to do and the damage I’m going to take.

If I remember correctly I forgot to equip something the first time and the second time I made a mistake by missing the granade, keep in mind that I was 12/13 levels under the recommended level and that fight in particular gets out of hand with really fast if you don’t keep up with the robots and the phase changes, you basically need to hit the boss a certain number of times to skip the phases, I don’t remember exactly what I was thinking at the time but I’m sure I was trying to not get destroyed by the high damage phase and the robots, if you don’t manage this correctly you basically die anyways even if you heal constantly because the robots will throw bombs at you in the second turn which you either try to tank them or waste turns trying to get rid of them.

Thanks!, I think most people don’t realize that you can basically go to the final dungeon at the start of part 2, almost everything is optional. I may try to improve this in the future if someone attempts to get the record although I may mod the game to remove all the cutscenes and make it more feasible time wise (I honestly don’t have the time to play the game for 8:30-9hs in a single sitting) although it would be a different category… anyways, thanks!, glad that the video helped you to beat the final boss.

I wouldn't play it on mobile, but it looks great on my mac. They added content after this that more than doubles the game length. It's a beast.

This fight is a lot harder than the Middle Void Realm fight against Yim, the strategy was totally different, I don’t remember the specifics since I fought her a long time ago but if I remember correctly that fight was pretty easy if you had someone buffed on reserve to one shot the black holes, Tan, Leo or Zinikr works. Tan is basically impossible to hit with Phantom and Desperation (you can unlock a skill that makes him harder to hit with Desperation), Taunt works but it has a low chance working, Yim is always one of the last 2 that moved so if you are not sure then you can always 50/50. Knowing what I know now after spending a ridiculous amount of time fighting bosses to route the speedrun I would probably do something a bit different, I would’ve used Survival Instinct a lot more to make it a bit less random (you can get a second jewel with Survival Instinct on En or you can buy the armor on Vence, defense is not as important for damage calculation, basically it gets divided by 2 on the formula), I don’t remember if you can use Bounce Field in this fight but if you can I would abuse it a lot more (same with all the other bosses), Slow is busted if you can land it (Bounce Field basically guarantees it), using Charge instead of Double Charge with Cheryl is better for DPS unless you need her at a specific time, Concentrate is pretty useless if you are going to hit an enemy with a weakness since you can’t crit at the same time unless you need the extra turn that Concentrate usually gives you, etc etc, I would probably come up with a better strategy than this, I remember I had some backups I didn’t had to use on this fight but even with the backups this strat was pretty inconsistent (20% or something like that, which it was pretty good if you are going to just attempt it multiple times).

@@UYNiko Oh man, I am so embarrassed. I was wondering why in my game Jas and Vam weren't showing up in the fight. I thought that because I started a separate save file in NG+ or maybe the current version had patched them out of the fight or something. But no, now I realize that this video is about the INNER void not the Middle lmao. Thank you for posting this video! The concept of super-buffing Tan became my strat and I finally beat middle void Yim before NG+! I was mainly using Tan, Ez, and Prickle, and I'd swap in Valrika to hit the 6 summons once, and then swap in Zinikr for the black holes. And if I messed up, Kina to use her tension to being everyone back/purge buffs. Also, I now just beat Yim the second time and will do it two more times to get the rest of the Yim's tears to upgrade the rest of the party's weapons. Nope, Ez isn't able to use bounce field on this one. I used that to get curse and slow on the mechteria blob in the middle, so I'll try to use that technique on Vam later in the Inner void. And thank you 1000x for that tip about the last two illusions moving and one of them being the real Yim. I'm able to tank at least one explosion, then guarantee the end of that phase by hitting the real one. That phase had been ruining each run or I was relying on luck until I learned from you about the 50% chance on the last two moving ones. Now I'm at least not worried about completing the middle void 2 more times to farm. I've been using Zinikr to kill the black holes with radiance strike since it thankfully hits just over 10K even without a buff, making that phase much more reliable. I think that a lot of the attacks that Yim is using are explosions for the whole party or something, and those seem to always hit Tan despite the desperation evade talent and phantom, so to survive those I try to make sure I swap him out or use Prickle to mega barrier him for that attack. But man, now I'm terrified of the Inner Void. I'll 100% return to this video to study tour strat for the harder fight. Thank you so much for posting it and explaining these mechanics! Speedrunners are awesome.

9:21:31 Equip a Small Jade and Pearl L on Ez and Pearl XL and Large Jade on Prickle, also try to use a similar Growth Map, I tried to get as much HP on Prickle as I possible can to be able to survive a Big Bang attack.

@@vuphan4320 If you press continue it'll load the autosave before the last fight, you need to load a save to be able to do the Void Realm and NG+.

You get that Weapon by defeating Eternal Holy then you can upgrade it on the Secret Base.

Thanks!, same here!, it would be cool if anyone else attempted to get the record!, I still need to fix my notes but I can share them with you if you want, there are a lot of stuff that's either missing, old or incorrect but it is a good starting point if you or anyone else wants to try to get the record, I also made a spreadsheet that you can use to for damage calculations docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1STsuQ2usuB-VDFUeCtFKgCdjvHf43n4u2CNkLJNDEYc/edit#gid=0 You need to make a copy of the spreadsheet to be able to edit it, change the values of "Agressor Attack" and "Target Defense", then you can set the ratios with whatever you need and it will automatically change the damage of every type of attack. If you or anyone else wants to follow this route you are going to need version 2.5.1 or lower to be able to do the glitch that allows you to clip inside the terrain, alternatively you can use the glitchless route instead which is about 5 to 10 minutes slower. The glitchless version of this route is about the same but you need skip doing the glitch and at 6:44:01 instead of warping after opening the chest you need to keep going but near the end of the "bridge" after you open the chest you need to trigger a Dimengon fight, the reason why you do that is that doing that will reset the distance counter (that's why I was warping to the ship before landing, that will also reset the counter, saving a quitting or using a loading zone will also reset it) so you won't get a random encounter there which can waste a lot of time because some of the enemies on this area are slow/annoying to kill and running a way is really hard because of the level difference. The fight against Solar Flare Noise is slightly slower because you haven't gotten the sword for defeating Eternal Holy yet which means you won't be able to one cycle it without using slow (well...if you are REALLY lucky with critical hits is barely possible), it's probably 1 to 3 minutes slower. After defeating Solar Flare Noise you need to warp to the Maxi Toy Box and defeat Eternal Holy. The fight against God's Compass is 1 to 1.5 minutes slower without Darkness Strike, the fight against God's Weapon takes the same time because you need to wait until Zinikr is able to use Payback so the extra damage won't help you and the fight against God's Predator becomes a really hard 10 to 13 minutes fight instead of a really easy 3 minutes fight. Jas takes about the same time, instead of using Cheryl you need to use Tan more, the fight takes basically the same time to complete, you might need to hit the 3rd form of Jas an extra time to get him below 80k HP to be able to skip the Black Hole. Doing the glitch and completing the Dark Labyrinth takes around 8 minutes more than the Dimengeon fight on the Communication Network so it kinda evens out. If you or anyone else wants to use the glitch then I can provide the version 2.5.0 for Mac and 2.5.1 for iOS devices, you still need to pay for the game to be able to play, no cracking or anything like that but I won't share it publicly for obvious reasons but you can either send me a message on Discord (Niko#1638) or on Reddit (u/NikoUY) and I'll share my notes, those version of the game and some other goodies, I also found another interesting glitch that I haven't shared with anyone for fear that they will patch it, I haven't be able to find an use for it tho...

The only requirements to beat the game are Hidden Valley and Chaos Caves, everything else is optional.

I don't have the save anymore but basically you need: Ez - Bounce Field, Quick All, Attack All Cheryl - Slow Piercing, Slow Turns+ Leo - Concentrate Turns+, Desperation, Semidare Fire Leo was using Rune Blade, Cyclone Ring, Ruby XL and Phantom Quartz.

As always lol, he's the most useful character in the game.

The ending changes depending on which characters you rescue and which quests you complete, if anyone wants to see all the endings I recommend doing it while playing New Game Plus, you can go to Hidden Valley right away to unlock the Communication Network and you need to get Valrika’s Divine Artifact, after doing that you can go all the way to the final boss, save, rescue whoever you want and/or complete some of the main quests before fighting him to get a slightly different ending.

@@UYNiko ok. So every char that you rescue, will add some portion in the ending cut scene?

@@ninozz if you don’t rescue them then their cutscene is not going to play, the dialog on the Uzra at the end will change too depending on who you rescued and some cutscenes are going to be different if you don’t complete the main quest of each character.

Mistwalker dotted every i and crossed every t. I finished the game last night with all characters rescued. I'm avoiding continuing New Game plus. Trust me I've had enough!!! For the warp jump I'm more aware now why they were very specific with only including Prickle, Clicker and Valrika.
